Mykilee & Tom - Wedding Videography at Lavender House, Devon
This day had been a long time coming for Mykilee & Tom, it started off with a light summer sun in the sky above Lavender House. Emotions were already running high with an exchange of gifts and cards for both bride and groom, each could clearly feel the care and thought the other had put into their box. All too soon it was time for the gents to wait at the top of the aisle, as Mykilee was helped into her dress and escorted down the aisle a very proud dad.
After many words of love and devotion were said and rings exchanged, the newlyweds were covered in confetti and led the way to the reception. Drinks and snacks on the lawn, hugs and laughter aplenty. After the formal photos were done, it was time to whisk the couple away for a few moments alone. I think it’s very clear for all to see the love they share.
Evening time came around fast, the sun dipping down into golden hour. Speeches and toasts were made and it was time for cake, dancing and the party!

Becki & James- Wedding Videography at Weymouth Beach, Dorset
Anyone would be forgiven for thinking the sand of Weymouth beach to be ordinary sand, yet for Becki & James it formed a central part of their relationship and their marriage ceremony. Beach chairs and candles marked the spot, the very special spot where an intimate ceremony would take place. Up and down the esplanade preparations were underway; hair and make up, suits and ties. Until finally it was time.
Near the helter skelter, James waited for his bride to make her way over and stand by his side. Grains of sand flowed from Becki, James and Zachery into one container, this wasn’t just three people but a brand new family. Rings were exchanged and deeply personal promises were made, as the intimate gathering also heard the tale of their love story. Afterwards it was time to celebrate with cake and champagne of course, before treating their guests to a private train ride and, to much delight, a ride on the carousel.

Amy & Ryan - Wedding Videography at The Elfordleigh Hotel, Plymouth
Nestled in the lush countryside on the outskirts of Plymouth, the Elfordleigh Hotel set the scene for Amy & Ryan’s spring wedding. The grey clouds were the perfect contrast to the vibrancy of love and happiness inside the hotel that day. Amy and her bride tribe were being pampered upstairs in the bridal suite, meanwhile Ryan and his crew arrived in style to greet the guests and take his place waiting at the top of the aisle.
Escorted by her father, at last Amy made that walk to join Ryan in the conservatory, brightly lit for all of their guests to bear witness. After the ceremony the couple were whisked away for a whirlwind tour of the golf course down to the lake, here they had a few moments alone to bask in each other’s love before making their way back to the patio and the celebrations.
The party soon moved into the opulent elite suite, but not before a few speeches where of course the maid of honour managed to work in a few words of golf themed wisdom! Evening guests arrived to join the festivities, and after the cake had been cut it was time for the couple to open the dancefloor with their first dance as husband and wife.

Have I mentionned that I LOVE golden hour? That time of day when the sunlight is disappearing and the light is warm and golden and perfect for romance. Wedding Videography First Look - Tregenna Castle, Cornwall
One of my absolute favourite moments from the morning bridal pre, is the first look! whether that's with your dad, step dad, grandparents or your bride tribe (if you have managed to keep your dress a secret that is!) It's always such an incredibly intimate and beautiful moment. Never be afraid to show your emotions and have a hug - just make sure to have some tissues handy to dab away those tears!
It's one of those special times where I position myself away in a corner, so I can simply capture the moment as it happens without intruding.
