What a lovely day! I am beaming because the law commission has released their report and the recommendation is that couples will have the freedom they wish for - Independent celebrants will be able to apply for a licence to LEGALLY marry couples and you will be free to choose where you would like, anywhere you would like and have your legal ceremony conducted by me! Lots of hoops to jump through, etc, but for a qualified celebrant like me this is the news that I have been waiting for. I know my couples will be thrilled too! Take a look at the recommendations - the law changes will hopefully come in the next two years....

2022 is set to be the busiest year for weddings in four decades!

If you're not familiar with the role, a celebrant is a person who performs and officiates at formal ceremonies such as weddings, vow renewals, baby naming, or even funerals and memorials.

By booking a celebrant for your service, you can have the vows you want, the music you want, the readings you want. You can have as much or as little religious content as you wish. If you and your partner are of different religions, you can have a blend from your different beliefs.

Please do think of me if you want a ceremony of any sort which is written exclusively for you; I can work in any crematoria, wedding venue, garden, field or even a beach and please do tell your friends too!
