As we open the festival tomorrow, I just wanted to remind everyone what is happening during the day!

**SATURDAY 14th JUNE 2025**
1:30pm - We kick off our festival with a procession to send off our current Lord Mayor with a bang. We have a procession starting off at The Village Hall by the main car park and we parade through the village finally ending on Big Green ready for the reveal of the new Lord Mayor!

2:15pm - Now it’s showtime! The big reveal of our new Lord Mayor enters the stage and joins all the previous Lord Mayors.

2:30pm - While our newly crowned Lord Mayor “tests the ale” we have music kicking off on the Big Green stage! We have our local trio Bu**er Me Thrice taking to the stage!

6pm - Once the new Lord Mayor has “tested the ale” of all our public houses, it’s time for the annual tradition of them meeting the tide! This is where everyone meets on the beach and watch them go into the sea! A tradition that originally was saved to sober up the village drunk!

4:30pm - Back on the Big Green stage we have music from Neil Sadler Band giving us some blues music!

6:30pm - Closing off the first day on the Big Green Stage we have music from The Diamond Geezers!

Evening - Don’t worry there is still plenty of fun to be had once everything is done and dusted on the Big Green stage. Each pub has plenty of local acts performing for free so do make sure you check them all out!

Dear festival goers,

Due to issues with card readers for card payments, there is a need to make the festival a CASH ONLY event!!

The Polperro Post Office will be open on 10am - 1pm Saturday 14th June, between 12pm and 2pm Sunday, and then 10am - 4:30pm during the week commencing Monday 16th June for access to an ATM.

We are making every effort to rectify this situation, but please make sure you make plans to bring cash with you!
