I finished this one off today and dropped it off for a beautiful little girl so she can wear it this weekend. The design and colour were chosen by Jessica and her dance teacher. 😍
I loved making this one so much that this one is also the winner of the cost price costume I said I would be giving out before christmas.

💜 Mesh Key hole back finished off with large AB crystals then some smaller fuschia and light pink crystals
💜 Crystal pattern front using a mixture of large sew on stones, mixed size AB crystals, AB Fuschia crystals, Fuschia crystals and light pink crystals

I thought it was about time I introduced myself properly.
I’m Kayla and the first photo is of me and my three children. I’m an ex primary school teacher and I still work in an education based job full time. I started sewing when I was on maternity leave with my little girl but only started off with basic clothing. I officially started making dance costumes when my daughter started competing around a year ago.
Here’s a reel with some of my recent makes.
I’m super grateful for everyone who trusts me to make costumes. I know I don’t have a lot of availability but when I do I can promise you that costumes are made with love and care!
To show my appreciation, I will be choosing someone before Christmas to receive their costume at cost price. This will be someone who already has a costume booked in and this will vary depending on design and material cost, probably between £50- £100 but my time (normally between 7 and 15 hours) will be completely free.
