The start of December has been a lot of corporate Christmas parties. This week though is jam packed with school and nursery shows. I’m even managing to squeeze in a couple of last minute bookings too 🙈

My van died!
Last week I was booked to perform at a small private party out in rural Shaftesbury.
A lot of people who have seen me entertain children don’t realise I also provide magic for adults too!
The guests weren’t quite ready, so I parked just over half a mile away and told the booker no problem let me know when you’re ready and I’ll swoop in…
I get the text, go to start the van, nothing. My battery is flat.
The client is really cool and asks if I want to cancel.
That word just doesn’t exist in my vocabulary and I wasn’t that far away.
I realised I had my scooter with me from my earlier event, I’ll scoot there!
As it was pitch black I put my Hi-Viz on, an LED light from my van as a headlight and I scoot along this country road close up cases in hand to the gig and a bottle of wine for the birthday girl stuffed in my coat 😂
Got there quickly and in one piece.
We had an amazing time and a buddy came to my rescue later to pick me up and jump start the van.
I think the scooter might stay in the van all year round 😆

20 years ago!
It may be grey and miserable outside but, tonight is the first night of my 20th year at Poole Quay Fireworks!
Way back when I was just 13, Poole Tourism (now BCP) booked me to perform short street shows each night.
It was an immense learning curve for me, full of all the ups and downs of trying to perfect your craft.
Thank you to Anne and Graham for the opportunity all those years ago and to everyone who stopped, watched and enjoyed the show.
Hope to see you there, my first show is 8pm!

The most magical trip ever!
Last week we spent four days at and it was the absolute best.
Darcy loved every moment. She met princesses, went on rides, loved the sensational shows and was a princess dress & Minnie Mouse ear wearing, buzz lightyear sword waving super fan.
A hug from Rapunzel and Jessie spotted they had the same hair ❤️❤️
