Suger, spice and all things nice!

Finally finished my wreath, I didn't quite know where I was going with this one, but it's full of my favourite berries and foliage's! THEN I decided I wanted it to be a little more 'Christmas' and added the oranges and a few cinnamon sticks!

⭐️ Testimonial Time ⭐️

I can’t recommend Lisa at Tiger Lily Occasions enough, if you’re having any doubts then these will soon go once you book. We originally booked Lisa just for Styling at our Wedding in November 2023 but we were quick to upgrade to one of her packages which also included floristry & much more! It was definitely worth it for us. We had a specific theme which was sophisticated safari and Lisa delivered exactly that! Right from the start with mood boards & talking through ideas, it was just even better on the day to see the 2 years of planning come together. It was such a help having Lisa there throughout the whole process but also on the day to organise all this and the Flowers were just stunning. Thank you so much for everything Lisa!

Making the flowers work for it!

The arch created the perfect romantic backdrop for Kim and Dan’s ceremony, whilst they enjoyed fizz and photos we transferred the arch to the reception.
I absolutely love this confetti-champagne bottle photo, the arch always adds something extra to those speech photos too!

BTW, aren’t the animals hanging in the hoops a funky personal touch! They added the safari touch and were perfect table names too; credit to the father of the groom for these!

Love and Life

It gets crazy sometimes, right!! Being a mum alongside creative business owner is definitely a lot to juggle.

Often, the 'business'side takes a backseat and so does my socials.... I've got some 2022 weddings that didn't make the grid as well as 2023!

My misson for February is to get the grid up to date with 'real life' weddings... including this one ⬆️⬆️. Lovely couples if you're happy to share your pro-photos I would be so insanely greatful!

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

December went very fast, so fast so feel I blinked and missed it! There are lots of things I had hoped to have done but and even more things I’m so grateful to have been able to do this Christmas.

We’re settling down for Christmas Eve traditions, I wanted to wish you all a wonderful Christmas, I know lots of you are enjoying your first Christmas as married couples!

Are you a high or low centrepiece kinda person? Last year it was all about the high raised designs but my couples this year look to be loving the low designs! Top tip: centrepieces should always be lower than 35cm or higher than 60cm allowing you’re guests to talk over or under the flowers! #weddingflowers #weddingflorist #dorsetflorist #weddingtoptips

I’m often asked “Traditionally, who do we need to get buttonholes for?” You don’t have to get buttonholes for anyone! Hand on heart I believe you should only get buttonholes if they’re important to you! If you do choose to have them, you don’t have to give them to everyone,I’ve seen many a squashed buttonhole before the ceremony. Buttonholes can eat into your budget very quickly! If the average buttonhole/corsage was £12.00 and you need 12, that’s a £144.00 you could put towards more elaborate centrepieces or a statement piece. ⭐️My diary for 2025 is open and I’ve still some availability for 2024 ⭐️ Drop me a message if you would like to chat all things wedding flowers
