During the workshop itself our pupils were captivated and engaged for the full hour, Simon balanced structured demonstrations with practical opportunities perfectly. Pupils were inspired by Simon and were motivated to learn new skills, some pupils worked on a specific skill for 45minutes as they were so keen to master it. Simon ended the session with a pupil performance and it was fantastic to see so many pupils wanting to take part in this. Hello summer season!!

First fire show in 6 months! 🔥🔥🔥

What a turnout at Bryanston School Summer Fayre today! The sun was shining and it was lovely and busy. Lots of entertainment, music, food, drink and laughter.

Looking forward to the same again tomorrow 🔥🤡🎪

Performing must have always been in my blood.

This was my last year at Primary School, performing in a Christmas pantomime of the ‘The Pied Piper’ at the Swan theatre in Worcester. I had a walk on role with Alister McGowan back before he was famous.

Still can not sing to this day 😂

What a great few weeks of firework events and parties. 🎆🎉

On Saturday 4th November, I had the pleasure of doing a circus party for Orlando’s 7th birthday in Dorchester. What a wonderful group of children. I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating with them all. 🎈🎈

Later that evening, myself and another of my team, were at North Baddesley School, what a great few hours we had freestyling with fire, to some amazing songs, by a very talented vocalist. Luckily, the rain held off long enough for us to finish our sets.

On November 10th, I was in Oxdord at Edward Feild Primary School, starting with a fire meet and greet and ending with my fire show.

With the awful rain, I have been very lucky to have carried on working.

The show must go on!

September is here and I’m still nice and busy which is great.

At the end of August, I was a part of the Big bike bash in Bransgore with my workshops and shows.

I really enjoyed being a part of so many holiday clubs this year. The recent one at Sunninghill prep school in Dorchester had such a perfect setting and the kids loved it! (Pictures below) 🎪

Last weekend, I visited East Tytherley and managed to be on the front page of their local newspaper 🔥🔥 the heat was definitely on at that fayre 😆

I had the absolute pleasure of hosting Imogen’s 8th birthday party in Dorchester yesterday. What a great bunch of kids. 🎉 🎉🎉

This coming Saturday, I will be making my regular appearance at Ringwood Carnival along with two other street entertainers, Chris Welford Juggler and Jasmine Edwards, with her stilt walking and hoop shows. This event is not to be missed! It’s brilliant 🙌🏻

The weather has been disappointing since schools kicked out (poor parents 😂).

Luckily, I have been able to keep lots of kids entertained doing circus skills in Andover, Fair Oak and Weymouth this week 🙌🏻

Saturday night, I performed at Ben & Hannya’s wedding celebrations at Wooders, needless to say my fire show went down a storm (mind the pun) 🌪️

This weekend, I am very excited to be at Wooders Wild Weekend, along with my family. What an amazing long weekend the organisers have lined up. There’s camping, music acts, shows, bouncy castles, stalls, food vendors and circus all weekend.

The circus fun continues:

The kids are finally on their summer holidays which means lots of parties 🥳.

I visited ‘Trailway Tots Nursery’ on Tuesday for their leaving party. The kids were all pre school age ( I don’t normally recommend this age) but it went so well, I will be changing the minimum age going forwards 😃.

On Thursday, I had a great time entertaining the kids at Netley Abby Infant school end of year party. I was there with my circus equipment and PA system providing a fun festival vibe for the kids. The weather was great, but the flying ants not so much 😅🐜

Saturday, I had the privilege of being one of the circus instructors accompanying Jamie Jigsaw for a corporate fun day in Cheltenham. A team of 8 of us rocked up and enjoyed our afternoon of circus.

Harris’s 5th birthday party was next on my agenda. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting Harris and his friends for a circus workshop party.

This weekend you can see me at the Weymouth Food and Family Festival in Lodmoor Park. This festival is run by the same crew that create cheese and chilli festivals so expect greatness.

My name is Simon, one of Dorset’s leading family entertainers. I am a proud Dad of three children and have always understood the importance of exercise and physical activity. I have been street performing and teaching circus workshops at events since 2006 and now specialise in children’s circus parties. My parties are lots of fun for the children. They will watch a 20-30 minute circus skills show, learn new tricks, play games and even take part in a show at the end, if they wish. Parents are free to join in and learn along the way, also optional.

Children will take part in: Plate spinning, hat tricks, diabolo, devil sticks, staff spinning, juggling, poi, hula hooping and loads more with a focus on keeping active. 60 minutes, 90 minutes and 2 hour packages are available.

Children are guaranteed to be active and entertained from start to finish and will love listening to circus music for the duration of the party to get them in the ‘circus’ mood.

Fully insured, experienced, and a CRB holder.

1 hour party package - £150
1.5 hour party package - £175
2 hour party package - £200 (this includes a 20 - 30 minute food break)

Prices include travel within a 20 mile radius of Poole, if your party is outside of this catchment then a small travel cost would be added.

The summer season is on 🔥

Last Saturday afternoon, I took my circus workshops and fire show to the North Baddesley infant school fete. What amazing weather we had ☀️

Saturday night, I had the pleasure of performing at my good friends 40th birthday celebration at Rivendell Park. Safe to say, I think they really enjoyed it as they had never seen it before. 🔥😊

Tuesday saw me perform at Millfield school in Glastonbury. Thank you to Thomas Trilby for choosing me as your fire performer.

This weekend is the Guildford Cheese and Chilli Festival. The weather may be windy, but that hasn’t stopped us. All has gone ahead as normal with lots of great stalls and entertainment to be had. These festivals are absolutely brilliant. 🎏

Last night, I enjoyed being back at an army base. I do love the banter with the troops.

This week, I entertained the clients of a corporate company ‘Platinum Property Partners’ at the Hilton in Oxford. The feedback was that I was too cheap for what I deliver 😊🔥

This weekend, I really enjoyed being at the Chichester Cheese and Chilli Festival- what an amazing crowd and some lovely photos they kindly took. It was busy from start to finish and the shows went really well. Again, a well organised family festival.

Saturday night was awesome, I was performing alongside ‘The Feeling’ and ‘ Baby D’ for a private festival for roughly 200 people.

Another busy weekend and a very hot one at that 🎪🥵

Today, I have been teaching Circus at the beautiful grounds of St Swithuns School for their summer fayre and then I rolled onto Motcombe village fete and closed their daytime event with a surprise fire show 🔥

It was a huge hit 😊

Next weekend is FATHERS DAY! I am at Itchen Valley Country Park (see link for info) 🎪
