Aphrodites Singers have been a bit quiet of late, but lots has been happening behind closed doors. We have performed at some incredible private gigs recently, including having the honour of performing at various weddings in and around Dorset and Hampshire for some truly gorgeous couples who gave us the honour of being part of their truly special day. Some of our weddings wanted numbers through the eras, having something for everyone, some wanted more traditional love songs, and others had themed weddings and just wanted 50's / 60's music. Each one was truly magical, and it was so lovely to meet so many beautiful people at each one of these truly special days.

Aphrodites Singers cannot wait to be back at the amazing Vdub at the pub this year.

There has been a time change for our performance this year, and instead of singing the Vintage bike ride off, we will be performing on the Vintage stage to welcome to riders back from the Vintage Bike Ride at 3pm.

We will be performing at Kingland Cresent* from 12-2pm with various classics from 1920s to present day.

There's lots of lovely shops/cafes/cocktail bars and restaurants near by to enjoy so we hope to see you there!

Aphrodites will be singing 2 sets here at the incredible Gaggle Fest this afternoon at 1pm and 3pm.

We'll be taking you on a whistle stop tour through the eras from the 1920s right the way through to present day.

Limited tickets are available online (via our website) or over the bar at the pub. We expect to sell out so unlikely there will be tickets on the gate.

Parking - will be in a field off Hilling Lane. It is a five minute or so walk to the pub. Please take care when driving up the lane as there will likely be pedestrians. Follow the signs! Welcome to pick-up or drop off at the pub. There will be limited blue badge disabled parking in the pub car park.

Things to bring - only pub food & drink will be allowed on site; please don't bring your own! Camping chairs might be handy unless you plan to dance throughout! Coats or brollies could be useful to beat those possible showers.

Gates open from midday with Stealing Whiskey starting us off. Approx timings across the two stages are:

This Sunday, 7th May, Wimborne Minster BID lead the Coronation celebrations in Wimborne Dorset town centre.
Celebrating our newly crowned Kings life through music 🎶 Starting at 11am and going on until 7pm we have a day filled with entertainment- even a game show in the afternoon with a cash prize! Please get in touch if you would like to enter a team.
Aphrodites Singers, Andy Kennett, Rubiks Kube to name a few will be performing during the day.
Childrens entertainment with your favourite characters plus facepainting and fair will keep little ones happy.
A free event for all!

Are you looking forward to seeing the Singers in Wimborne Square on Sunday 7th May at 11am?
These lovely ladies will be on stage entertaining you with songs from the 1950's - celebrating the early years of our new Kings life.
King Charles was born on at 21.14 (GMT) on the 14th November 1948 during the reign of his maternal Grandfather King George VI.
Come along and help us celebrate the coronation of our new King with music and entertainment for all the family in Wimborne town centre from 11am - 7pm :)

Please remember that when arriving and leaving the Hub to respect our neighbours, just because people mite have cameras out filming you, the Hub is not the location to act like a D**k please.

HAPPY NEW YEAR YOU LOVELY LOT 🥰🥳🎆🎈🎊🎉

Sorry for the Social media silence over the past few months. We've had a few very exciting changes over 2022. A little bundle of love joined the wonderful Aphrodites family.

A gorgeous little girl was welcomed into the world in 2022 so things have been a little busy and a little different.

Heather has still been providing alot of incredible solo gigs across 2022 whilst Gemma was recovering from welcoming the gorgeous little lady into the world.

Slowly over the year Gemma has rejoined Heather for various solo and duo gigs. But Aphrodites duo are definitely back and are loving providing live music sets to wonderful venues all over Dorset.

Lots of exciting announcements to come over the next few months, so keep your eyes peeled.
