CHAMBER MUSIC AT ST ENDELLION CHURCH✨

Join Endelienta Ensemble for two concerts of chamber music, including Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet and Mozart’s Oboe Quartet.

Led by Artistic Director and St Endellion Festivals regular, Rees Webster, the Ensemble will be joined by Emile Souvagie, winner of the Royal Overseas League Gold Medal and Principal Clarinettist of the Brussels Philharmonic. For this project the musicians have very few constraints on the repertoire choice so they will be bringing music they are passionate about and want to share.

📆 31 October & 1 November
🎟️ From £10

NEXT WEEK AT ENDELIENTA ARTS...

Reg Meuross Music’s belief that folk songs provide a rapid and accessible route into history and its current relevance stood him in good stead when tackling the history of the transatlantic slave trade through story and song in Stolen From God. He has unearthed both incredible tales and uncomfortable truths – now brought fully to life in this song cycle featuring the sparkling playing of kora master Suntou Susso Music.

Some photos from LYR’s breathtaking performance at this year’s festival 🤩

It was an absolute joy to see the band joined on stage by The Poet’s Singers - a local choir including members from Port Isaac Chorale and many of our amazing volunteers.

We will not be forgetting the evening anytime soon!

In a festival first, this year we hosted a hilarious evening of Cornish stand-up from the fantastic comedians Edward Rowe (Kernow King), Anna Keirle and Mimi.

It was an utterly joyous event and the perfect way to kick off the weekend!🥰

TOMORROW AT ENDELIENTA ARTS...

There is still time to book for Bristol-based dreamfolk trio, Hands of the Heron, supported by folk singer, Anna Anise!

Hands of the Heron’s instantly recognisable vocal harmonies are delivered by three frontwomen – Bec Garthwaite, Beth Roberts and Claire Vine – each of whom brings a signature writing style to the band’s mercurial sound. They move effortlessly between sparse choral folk and spellbinding chamber pop, richly layered with an assortment of strings, drones and reeds.

Anna Anise is a singer of feel-good folk songs, alongside the traditional jigs and reels from which she finds inspiration for her storytelling songwriting. Her recent single, Overexposed, earnt her radio plays on BBC Upload and BBC Introducing.
