SANDS challenge day 5....the nights are definitely getting lighter we had light for most of our walk this evening....another few miles in the bag 🚶

Tomorrow you can come along for some Jiggy Wrigglers fun at Lee Tennis Club...🤩

We have Jiggy Mixed at 9:30am followed by Jiggy babies at 11am....currently spaces left at both sessions however this is a popular group, please do book on if you're coming along...

How does playing with puppets help your babies’ development?
Playing with puppets can help your baby’s development in many different ways including:
• Social and emotional development – Children use puppets to learn how to express their emotions such as sadness or happiness and to learn how to empathise with others through talking to the puppets. They can learn how to deal with their emotions and can become more confident communicators.
• Language skills – Playing with puppets helps children learn new words and they can practice reading to and speaking with the puppets.
• Motor skills – By manipulating the puppet and making it do what they want, children can practise their motor skills (motor skills involve the brain, muscles, and nervous system working together).
Why not bring your little one to a session so they can enjoy playing with one of our many puppets and props?

A BABIES PERSPECTIVE: 10 THINGS I LEARN WHEN YOU SING TO ME! (Bumps will love it too!!!)

Whether it's comforting them with their favourite lullabies or passing the time on long car journeys, singing is a part of everyday life for lots of parents.

However, what you might not know is that singing also has lots of health and developmental benefits for your little ones.

Singing out loud releases feel-good hormones called endorphins that make you feel happy and positive.

There is also a tiny part of your inner ear, called the sacculus, that releases even more happy hormones when it’s stimulated by music.

Not only is it good for your mental health and mood, but research has shown that singing can actually help build your children's brain development and overall immune system.

Singing to babies prepares them for communicating later in life as it helps them get used to the structure and inflections of their native language.

Singing also strengthens their lips and tongues which encourages clear speaking, and also expands their vocabulary.

Who will you meet?? Be careful though there might be some cheeky monkeys..🙉

Jiggy mixed suitable for all ages, those with siblings everyone welcome....🤗 session starts at 10am and we have a social time at the end with toys biscuits 🍪 and hot drinks for the grown ups...☕️

A R M E D F O R C E S Family Session Event! 🎉

I am thrilled to launch this year's first Armed Forces Family Session Event which will be taking place at the studio on Saturday 1st March 2025.

These sessions are designed to celebrate the Service people and Veterans in our lives, and the families that support them. It's an opportunity to don your finest uniform, polish up those shoes and silverware and create heirloom family portraits that will be treasured by your proud families now and even more so in the future.

Plus we will be raising funds again for the lovely charity Little Troopers with every booking that is made.

Good morning wrigglers....happy Sunday..🌅

As you know I'm walking a mile every day in support of SANDS....I'll pop my daily walking log up for you guys to see my journey.

Today was a walk to Portchester castle 🏰 I wasn't disappointed by the gorgeous sunrise either....and I was lucky to find a Portchester rock to...I've re hidden it back at the castle for others to find....😁
