Another week another paella night defeated by the weather!

We unfortunately will not be going ahead with paella night at Quiddles this evening (Thursday 15th August) 😩😭

So sorry for the inconvenience.. we hope you’ll be able to join us another time.

Please let us know if you would like us to move your booking to another week..

Alternatively come and see us at Portland Red Triangle Cricket Club for the Little Dragons Fun Day on Sunday (18th August).

We will be serving from 5pm until we run out!!

This will be on a first come first served basis on the day.. no bookings necessary.

So excited to be joining in Little Dragons Summer Fun Day at Portland Red Triangle Cricket Club this Sunday 18th August from 2-8pm especially as the weather looks.. 👌☀️🥘

We’ll be serving paella from 5pm until it’s gone so be sure to be there then!

We’re unfortunately continuing to have no shows each each week.. ☹️🥘

We absolutely understand plans change but please try and let us know if you’re not coming.

We do have a waiting list and can sell on to passers by on the evening if we know you’re not coming so it’s not a big deal if you can’t make it.. we just appreciate a heads up so we know.

It’s also why we operate with a cut off time of 7pm so we’re not left with any wasted food.

Come and join us tonight at the Beehive to help raise funds for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance..

We’ll be serving chicken and chorizo, seafood or veg paella from 6-7pm..

We still have some space available for paella at the Beehive this Saturday 29th June.. ☀️🐝🥘😋

They’ll be hosting an annual charity motorcycle ride-out raising money for where we’ll also donate £1 from every portion of paella sold to the very worthy charity!

Things will be happening at the Beehive throughout the day then we will be there serving paella from 6pm - 7pm..
knees.bakes will also be offering some of their delicious sourdough loaves to accompany the paella along with some very scrummy puddings to follow!!

Please remember to let us know in advance if you’ve booked but can longer make it as we do have a waiting list..

We operate with a cut off time of 7pm as we can then sell anything left to passers by if we have people that do not show up. That way we are not left with any wasted food..

This is what we need.. last week we had the pleasure of cooking for and their school group campers..

The clever Daniel and Jude from Sweethill knocked this up to use as a stage for their evenings of entertainment over the summer but it doubled up as a paella base too..

We would have really struggled to cook in the cold wind that night but it was snug and cosy and cooked like a dream in here!!

It's nearly time! SummerFest is happening TOMORROW, from 10am - 10pm 🌞

We can't wait to see you all there for a day packed with fun, music and lots more!

Here are a few things to remember:

☀️ £2 on the door for adults
☀️ 60 spaces on site for early birds (£10 each)
☀️ Event car parking at Sainsbury's overflow
☀️ Two shuttle buses will be running
☀️ Please park responsibly and use the overflow

A family fun festival held at Redlands in Weymouth by to raise funds in aid of Weymouth Life Boat Station..

We’re so sorry and disappointed but we won’t be able to go ahead with paella at Quiddles this evening.. Thursday 30th May.

As some of you know we really struggle to cook on our gas burners in windy conditions so we just can’t take the risk.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience and we hope you’ll be able to join us another time or move you booking to next week.

Quiddles will be open for brekkie and lunch though so give them a visit if you can.

And please make use of the other food vendors in Victoria Square this evening.. Portland Pizza are open for their first night back this season and Chesil Chippie are fab for take away too!

We are taking bookings for this Thursday and although we’re full for chicken and chorizo we have plenty of seafood or veg on offer..

As always, it will completely depend on the weather as we do struggle with windy conditions..
