Weddings are slow and spread this year and I’m ok (ish) with that
It gives me time to spend with Rob
It also gives me time to play with flowers that I am now offering all couples looking for a unique bouquet
Last week I officiated a lovely handfasting for T&L at the fairy Glen and it was also Rob’s first witness role since hosp last year
Working alongside the lovely again

Last week I had the honour to hold ceremony for India & Ryan
With their close family & friends at Glen Etive
We arrived the night before and stayed in our van with midges to keep us company
A most beautiful location that I’d never been to before even though this is where my Grandad lived after leaving Eigg
I don’t think much has changed in the 70years since he lived there only a handful houses dot the Glen
Thank you & Ryan for inviting me to be part of your special day

Today s a good day after nearly 6 months in hosp Rob has been given a release date (all being well)
I’ve spent the majority of the time with him away from home and family
Supporting him in any way I can sometimes by just sitting next to him whilst he slept
The relief that I feel is overwhelming
So a massive shout out to all my sisters caring for their loved ones during difficult times putting their lives on hold to hold them

Out in nature in particular the outer isles
In my home with candles lit and pets snoring gently around me
And amongst the trees. I find woods and forests esp peaceful and healing 🌳🌳🌳

Rob is home for a few weeks so the best present ever

So as we arrive in Sept and ceremonies start slowing down, I will be focusing on more spiritual sacred magical ceremonies for next year
My hope is to spend more time with couples creating an experience of a slowed down day… enjoying time to really sink in and feel the day feel the love feel the magic that your union brings to you
Working alongside some fabulous photographers to catalogue the day
