Anyone else feel sad when they have to clear down their Christmas table? ☹️ ~ I lit mine too this year and it looks so pretty I don’t want to dismantle it ✨. I just might have to keep the lights all year round!! However the rest of the Christmas decor started going yesterday. Kids Xmas trees have gone, hallway decs, cards gone and presents decamped to their rooms. I love the festive season and all my beautiful decorations but come the 27th, I am itching to get my lounge back and all the glitter back up in the loft 😊.

Weddings kick off in January for me this year so after the Christmas trees are packed away for my clients it’s go go go all things Weddings 💍

A bride is nothing short of enchanting, a vision straight from a fairy tale and this was certainly true for Emma & Gareth’s wedding in the summer

The wedding day held certain homage’s to Beauty & The Beast’s Belle’s timeless elegance in the florals & colours chosen. Vibrant yellow and red roses, cascading ivy with hints of blue berries and delphinium. Congratulations to you both and thank you for sharing your fairytale day with me!

Wedding Bouquets ~ Rachael commissioned her bouquets and buttonholes as she and James had their wedding day at the beautiful Brympton House in Somerset earlier this year and wanted to have them early to take down with them. It’s the season ~ kicked off with some fantastic Christmas tree installations for Lamborghini, Lotus and the Atrium at their Hatfield showrooms. All bespoke tree designs and colours to compliment their brands….it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas🎄!!!

🎄It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎄~ It definitely is in my house currently as I’m buying & prepping stock ready for Christmas tree installations over the next few weeks. 8 trees going up for 1 client alone and two of them are going to be 16ft stunners!!! Lots of glitter, big ladder and hard hat time 👷‍♀️🪜🎄🤶🏻.

I can’t wait to show them off, but for now this was a few of my favourite set ups and detailing I created over the last few Christmas’s.

Repurposing your flowers ~ This is my biggest top tip for my clients and anyone I chat to about their wedding day flowers. The floral decor you need in your ceremony or wedding reception - what can be used across both parts of your day?

Ceremony flowers can be top table florals, arches can go behind your top table after your ceremony or be positioned as a back drop to photos or your cake table. Aisle flowers can be guest centrepieces or decorate fireplaces. Chair flowers can be top table chair decor. Bouquets can decorate cake tables, top tables or present tables. Always think about the spaces you need to fill and want to decorate with flowers and see what can work for your whole day….it will save you money and is much less wasteful.

When you have a clear vision for your wedding ~ I met Chloe almost 2 years before her wedding day when she saw me carrying an Autumnal themed bouquet through the crowds of a wedding fayre, she promptly followed me to my stand and we started chatting about the vision for her day.

Having talked over the finer details during our consultation, exchanged many texts and emails to finalise styles, colours and ideas the final vision was put in place. To see it all come together last week was wonderful, it was such a special day and to see the joy on their faces is why I love what I do. 🧡.
