Personal post but I couldn’t not use a grid post for the newest addition to our family. Welcome to the world Ivy. My beautiful new Niece who decided to come a month early just so she could see her Uncle Dan before he headed back to Kenya ( or so he believes 😆) My brother and his two gorgeous girls 💝.. Another pink gem to add to my ever-growing collecting. How rich I am to have 5 Nieces to adore and how lucky I am to be able to document them all grow 🙏🏼🥹

The month of newborns is approaching and I’m so excited! With 5 in the diary I wonder who who come first. Set in my beautiful space with natural light and the most relaxing view. My focus is always the intimacy and connection between those involved. Close up and personal showing the bond and love that has no where to hide. Siblings are always welcome into my space too.. it’s a huge milestone for them.. Bigger responsibility and a new forever friend. The sessions are baby led and relaxed. No clock watching or rushing around.. comfort and peace is always the priority. You’re never on borrowed time. After all, how you feel when you look at your pictures matters to me as much as what you see. I have a couple of spots left for January for studio sessions and have a couple of offers running until 1st of December you can enjoy including a taster maternity session for every newborn session booked with a due date before June. My diary for this year is already 60% full so please secure with deposit to avoid disappointment. This offer will not be extended ✨

Currently working around the clock to get edits to their forever homes. The busiest year of my career to date with 50+weddings, 20+ newborns, family sunset sessions, mini seasonal sessions and a devastating amount of end of life sessions ( which I feel so honoured to be apart of). It reminds me that life is precious and the moments we document are our legacy. Juggling life as a mother and as a business woman.. I’m starting to appreciate that balance is essential.. for wellbeing, happiness and business development. It’s hard to feel inspired and creative when you’re pouring from an empty cup. I’ve learnt this over the years. 7 years in and while it’s still working progress - this year especially I’ve seen huge improvements in my growth.. Many lessons, challenges, surprises and amazing wins. I feel so grateful and proud to be in a position to have to close my diary and have sooo much work to share now I head into the “quieter months”

Next year is already filling up and while I struggle with the social media demand of BTS and updating the gram on what I’m up to and where I am. I relish the opportunity to be fully present with my client ( and my family when I’m not working).. and give myself total permission and freedom to post when it feels authentic and I have space to.

I encourage everyone to find this acceptance. We don’t have to give our entire selves away to be successful. I still have lots of enquires, engagement and positive feedback despite being a little quieter than I perhaps have been in previous years.

Sending love as we enter the Autumn. It’s a season of release for me. Letting go of what doesn’t serve and embracing what does.. finding peace in slowly down and noticing the little, but big things in life that allow us to feel comfort, peace and love 🙏🏼✨

Unfiltered life update:

Wow, 4 weddings back to back.

The first and probably last time we take on that challenge. Anyone in the industry will appreciate how much of a task that is. I have had to take a day of rest today. Switching off and just having space to just sit in silence. It’s the most beautiful career to have and when you’re in the moment the adrenaline, passion and excitement just keeps you going without much thought but, the physical toll holding a 6kg camera has around your neck for 13 hours a day is huge on the body. Along with the extreme pressure and intensity of documenting a huge life milestone, with only one chance to meet expectations.. oh not forgetting the organising of over 100 majorly intoxicated guests, with some not so keen on formality. It is a lot to handle. HAHA! I have officially lost all sensitivity in my big toe also? Which I suddenly realised happens every wedding season.. I’m not sure what I do but hopefully it comes back to its senses in November when things slow up. I miss it already..

Now experiencing wedding blues x4 after being totally and utterly invested in the build up and excitement leading up to the big celebrations for our couples. Each totally unique to the next. I’m so sad it’s over ( even if my back is slightly relieved) ###xx

I have a newborn session, business headshots along with ALOT of editing to crack on with this week before another stunning wedding on Saturday and next Monday. Bea and Simon is currently on screen - I can not wait to get their gallery to its forever home.

I feel so unbelievably blessed to have been apart of your beautiful journey as a family. To be apart of huge memories and chapters that form your book of life. The most wholesome life.

With only an hour to spare after a 14 hour shift I couldn’t go to bed and pass the opportunity to wish little Franco the happiest first birthday. Absolute champ with the cutest most infectious smile. Keep being gorgeous 💙🎂

Meet the storyteller 🫶🏼 Before I embark on this new extension of my brand, hoping to use the “diary” side to inspire, create and connect through writing and workshops.. I thought it was best to give you a little glimpse into my off camera world. I little peak into the person behind the lens. So here I am! Hello, new followers and big love to my loyal clients who have since the beginning become friends I can trust, depend and celebrate with. I’m not a particularly interesting person as you can see. Oddly predictable perhaps.. but, the irony is I don’t even know my next move half the time. I love to live spontaneously and do rather than say. I also wholeheartedly believe that authentic connection and commonality is key in building beautiful relationships with others. Sometimes, along the way we feel lost f unseen and disconnected from the world around us. Like we don’t fit in and no one understands. No matter how colourful your life is, no matter who you are or where you’re come from.. someone out there gets you. Inside everyone is a tiny connection - Even if it’s only favourite flavour ice cream. You just have to dig deeper and open your heart sometimes to find it. 🌸🫶🏼
