Hi, I’m Nia – welcome to Luvshifting Flowers’s new followers! ⁣⁣When I was 15, my mum spotted a sign in the window of a florist’s. Little did I know, that chance sighting would birth my career, my love of all things nature and my life’s work – LuvShifting Flowers.⁣⁣After completing an array of creative qualifications, I followed my passion to London, working with Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and celebrity filled venues across the capital. I built connections with growers, expanded my knowledge and cemented relationships that still inspire me today. ⁣⁣Now from our home in Southsea, LuvShifting Flowers continues to bring me immense joy, artistic expression and connections!⁣⁣Every aspect of floristry excites me from BIG designs involved at weddings & installations for businesses to spending time curating the tiny details for buttonholes. ⁣⁣From large plant based designs, floral bouquets that speak to their recipients, and tributes for families. No matter the design I really do flow and connect with the wonderful flowers, foliages & plants I get to play with everyday. ⁣⁣I balance my buying from Europe with foraging and borrowing & get very excited when a local gardener calls to say they are pruning a tree or shrub, I borrow stems to create structures and the they go to compost after the event.⁣⁣You may have also spotted that I share my knowledge at taster days and workshops, including guiding wedding couples in making their florals. ⁣⁣What are you planning and how can I help you bring that to life? ⁣⁣Love, Nia

Come along to the next Autumn Wreath Workshop at Crushed & Cured on Sat 21st Oct 11am-1pm (ish)⁣⁣. We bring lots of seasonal foliages, including eucalyptus, copper beach & oak and gorgeous hydrangea heads, seed pods, twigs, pine cones AND ribbon in all kinds.⁣⁣ You get immersed in the process and we are there to help you create a beautiful design. ⁣⁣The wreaths can be left to gently dry out but they will remain looking fab and you garnish them a bit more for Christmas!⁣ £55 each place. A sweet birthday bouquet using pink garden roses, apricot lisianthus, lime green alchemilla, pastel pink snapdragons, eucalyptus populus & rose hips. Made by spiralling the stems , that simply means adding stems at the front left to right and into the back right to left. This allows some natural space & stops the flowers bunching up together. 💥 New Season Workshops⁣ ⁣ 🌻 September’s session we’ll be making a seasonal Autumn bouquet with as many local flowers as possible (weather dependant) .The design will have a mixture of seasonal favs, foliages and fragrance. Everything is provided. ⁣ ⁣ 🤓 Chose from Tues 12th at Marmion House where you can buy drinks and nibbles or at Luvshifting Studio for a more intimate & hands on session on Tues 26th Sept. You can bring your own drinks & nibbles. We start at 6pm & the making takes about an hour and half. ⁣£55 a session. ⁣ ❤️ The workshops are designed as an escape, a time to relax and enjoy all the sensory details that flowers can provide but you’ll also pick up some top tips and learn how to look after your designs. ⁣ ⁣ “What a fantastic and fun evening.
