I’m delighted to announce that my diary for next year is now full and that I’m no longer taking bookings for 2025.

As all my couples know, the amount of time and effort I put into ensuring that each and every one of my ceremonies exceeds all expectations, is considerable.

To maintain these high standards, I now limit by bookings to just 12 per year, and my most recent booking was number 12 for 2025!

However, if you’re planning on getting married in 2026, let’s talk. It’s never too soon to book! 😉 xx

Huge congratulations to this fabulous couple, Emma and Dave, who will be coming all the way from Bournemouth to sunny France next June to say ‘I do’ at the lovely Manoir Beaulieu.

This is my third booking in a row for this gorgeous venue and as it’s almost walking distance from my house, I couldn’t be more pleased to be helping yet another couple celebrate their special day here with a totally bespoke wedding ceremony.

🌟 Sending huge congratulations to the lovely Rebecca & Adam who’ve booked the gorgeous Manoir Beaulieu for their fairytale wedding next summer.

🌟 This venue has to be one of my absolute favourites for couples to choose to host their authentic French wedding celebrations.

🌟 The Manoir itself is perfectly set in the beautiful French countryside, with breathtaking views of the surrounding rolling hills all around. It’s VERY pretty and VERY French and provides everything you need for the perfect intimate celebration. There are also lots of picturesque spots around the venue to host the wedding ceremony and - breaking news- the owners are currently working on yet another special option to choose from, details of which I’m sure will be revealed very soon!

🌟 Best of all for me though is that it’s located in my neighbouring village, so close I could walk there if necessary!

🌟 Rebecca and Adam, you have definitely chosen well and I can’t wait to meet with you there very soon, when you come to visit, to start discussing how we can make your wedding ceremony just one of the highlights of your very special day. 👰🤵🏼❤️

Just back from Staffordshire where I’ve been hosting my latest Celebrant Retreat for 25 lovely ladies. It’s so important for celebrants to connect, rebalance and invest time in some essential professional development. We work together, socialise together, hold ceremonies, learn loads, sing, dance and generally just have tons of fun.

Introducing the totally fabulous Tally & Gregor from Dubai, who have just booked me for their dream wedding in France next summer.

What started as a surprise proposal just before Christmas has led them to planning a fabulous destination wedding in the oh-so-beautiful chapel at Chateau de Brives in August 2025.

So how did Gregor pop the question you might ask? Well… let me tell you!! Tally had bought herself a new pair of trainers in December but as it was so close to Christmas, she had asked Gregor to wrap them up and put them under the tree for her to open on the big day. Imagine her shock, surprise and delight then, when she found her present also contained an ‘extra little gift’, a beautiful diamond engagement ring from Tiffany’s!!

I really can’t wait to get to know this couple better and create something really special for their big day 🥂😊

Introducing the gorgeous Lin & Richard from Horsham who’ll be celebrating their wedding in real style at Chateau de Lerse next May.

Working as a GP and an IT professional, these guys have very busy lives, and have already celebrated their union with a very grand and very traditional ceremony in China.

Now they are both excited to be looking ahead to their western celebration, and what better place to host an intimate, relaxed and very stylish wedding than the beautiful Chateau de Lerse in Southwest France.

So from West Sussex, to China, and finally to France; I can’t wait to create something really rather special for this very lovely couple. 🇬🇧 🇨🇳 🇫🇷 🥂😘😘

Feeling so grateful this morning to have received some more lovely feedback, this time from the fabulous Lucy & Bob from Manchester who married in the church at the beautiful Chateau de Brives earlier this summer. 🙏😘

I was worried about it, especially when we had to do the legal part in the UK, I wondered if it would be a bit strange for our guests. I also worried that it was going to be a bit too romantic as Bob and I are not really that way out, but I can say with so much confidence that you did an amazing job and we were blown away by the whole thing!

I really feel like you captured who we were, as well as helping us to add a personal touch with our own vows (which you know I was extremely nervous about). The vows were my favourite part of the ceremony and really added something special, I didn’t realise how funny they would end up being!

‘’Lisa is both a lovely human and a true professional! We’re very glad we chose her as our celebrant.

It was a pleasure working with her in the lead up to the wedding and we loved that the wedding ceremony was a complete surprise to us, it was very special to also get to experience the wedding without knowing exactly what was coming.

She worked with our family directly to plan the readings they would read and that was such a special moment to have them contribute to our ceremony and to hear their words of advice and encouragement.

Everything ran like clockwork, she guided us through the process and managed all the small details (like where to stand and what to do - things we would never have considered) to help our photographers get the best shots.

It wasn’t easy planning a wedding in France from the UK but we would choose Lisa again in a heartbeat as she made the process a lot more enjoyable and took a lot of the pressure off us.

Daryl’s mum, a devout Catholic, has also decided that if she was going to marry Daryl’s dad again she would like to have Lisa as her Celebrant!’’

After 18 years of being together (and having known each other since their primary school days!), there’s definitely an entertaining story to be told here!

Bookings for 2024 & 2025 are currently going crazy! And the prospect of getting married in France it seems, is more popular than ever! 👰‍♀️ 🤵🏼 💕

Although this fabulous couple, Beth & Alex from Stockton on Tees, aren’t getting married for another two years, I already had two brides wanting to book the same date! (Which happens a lot more often than you might think). I’ll never agree to deliver two ceremonies on the same day, because once I’m booked I’m yours; to work around your timings (and sometimes the weather), always being able to offer all the flexibility you may need on your special day. 😉👍🏼

Anyway, Beth & Alex managed to snap up the date first, and I’m VERY pleased they did. Château Gassies is one of (if not the) most luxurious venues I’ve ever had the pleasure to work at, and listening to just some of Beth & Alex’s ideas for their wedding day, this promises to be one VERY glamorous event!! 🥂🥂

I can’t wait to get started and create a ceremony which sets just the tight tone for their special day. 🎉🥰

And the moral of the story… it’s NEVER to early to book!! 🖊️ 📖 😍

We hired you to write and deliver our ceremony, but in reality you did so much more - so thank you so much for being there for us throughout.

You were more than just our celebrant, you were an ally and a friend; from our first meeting through to our wedding day, and for that we are so grateful.

Thank you also for writing and delivering such a beautiful ceremony - we (and our guests), enjoyed every second, especially hearing what each other had written, and those answers are something we will now treasure forever.

From our very first meeting, Lisa showed a genuine interest in getting to know us as a couple, understand our story, and capture the essence of what we wanted our ceremony to be.

Her ability to listen, ask the right questions, and provide us guidance throughout the planning process was invaluable and we greatly appreciate the time she spent with us which, in turn, allowed her to craft a ceremony that felt so personal and unique.

Beyond just the formalities of the exchange of rings and vows, Lisa’s ceremony told our love story, taking our guests on the journey that led to us to being gathered there that day, and her beautifully written script reflected our personalities and life together perfectly.

We cannot thank Lisa enough, not only for the time and effort she put into delivering such a beautiful ceremony, but also for all the little extras she did on top.

She was on-hand throughout the planning process, from helping us find suppliers to sharing her insider knowledge, Lisa was always only a WhatsApp away.

Today was rehearsal day at Château Gassies for Alice & Jack. And this was the moment that Jack’s mum discovered that she’ll be walking her son down the aisle tomorrow. There were LOTS of happy tears!! 🥲🥲❤️

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that no two couples are the same and so working with some brides and grooms will need a totally different approach.

When Chloe & Scott first booked me last year, one of the first things they told me was that they were quite a quiet couple, they didn’t like the idea of being centre of attention and that they just wanted something short and simple.

Hmmm, I don’t really do short and simple, so…. I had to get a little creative in my approach….

They didn’t like to give too much written information and so we had a few informal chats over Zoom, just so they relaxed a little and were able to open up more about what makes their relationship work so well. I then asked for permission to contact their entire bridal party AND both sets of parents in order to gain a bit more background information. And what came back was gold; giving me enough to create a warm, intimate, heartfelt but very humorous surprise wedding ceremony, which the couple and all their guests raved about!

I could’ve taken the easy route and given them short and sweet (which IMO would also have meant standard, scripted and probably a bit boring), but I believe that every couple who books me deserves to be totally wowed on their big day. And so this lovely feedback from Chloe & Scott feels extra special to receive.

Thank you for taking the time to write such kind words, it really does mean the world to me that you trusted me enough to give you a ceremony you loved so much.

Looking back at just a few of the fabulous photos from Lisa & William’s extra ordinary wedding ceremony at Château de Brives earlier this year. Katrina ❤️ Eric 24.8.22 My final wedding of the season at Chateau la Durantie was marked by the incredible celebration of Katrina and Eric’s wedding! 🎉 This English/Dutch couple, (where Wakefield met Amsterdam), are amongst some of the most fun people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. 👏🏻👏🏻😘 Friends and family had gathered from all over, but mainly from England and Holland, and the whole day reflected the marriage of not only two people, but of two cultures too. 🇬🇧 ❤️ 🇳🇱 Their ceremony was attended by a group of 120 people who were whooping and cheering even before the couple arrived! Everyone there was totally up for participating, supporting and feeling totally engaged… Just my kinda wedding!! 😆😆🎉 The ceremony totally reflected both the fun and the love between Katrina and Eric, as well as celebrating what was just important to them as a couple. The bridal party handed out beer and prosecco as they entered, I was able to tell a very entertaining story of how they met and of how their relationship has evolved, we all enjoyed a shot of Baby Guinness to toast the happy couple and Katrina delivered her vows in Dutch as a surprise to her new husband. Absolutely bloomin’ perfect (even if I say so myself)!😍 I’m sure the partying will have gone on long into the night and I hope you all had the most amazing time after I left. 💃🏾🕺🏿🥂 Katrina and Eric, it’s been such a pleasure working with you both.
