I was asked to do flowers with a snooker 🎱 theme this week. The letters are all colours of the snooker balls and then a snooker table. It's such a privilege to be asked to do funeral flowers It's that last gift I can do for your family.

2 rather nice hat boxes made for the mothers of the bride and groom. Not done a lot of work lately but I have the bug again. Another 2 hat boxes going out later next week, can't wait to get thinking of how to make them extra special.

Today it's your birthday grandad, what I'd give to celebrate with you. You where always there for me and I miss you, but your never far from my thoughts and there is always a smile when I think of you. Happy birthday too one of the greatest men in my life. Now get a pint of Guinness in your hand and enjoy it, of course you'll have to get granny a cold glass of wine first. Love you grandad.

Last night was an awful night. Our little guinea pig was attacked by a lose ferret. Much as woody Stood up for himself unfortunately his injuries where too much for him. A trip to the emergency vets at 2am this morning where the poor little piggy was put to sleep. You where a strong little man and you didn't give up without a fight. Fly high little one. If you have animals outside for the summer like we had please because of other animals. There are ferrets that have been released in Prescot, by an irrusponsaable owner. If you can't look after your animals don't get them in the first place. You have caused my family and other animals undue stress and pain let alone the injury to poor woody. Our other piggy has now been brought inside as we don't want the same to happen again. Sorry for the long rant. Xx

How can it be a year today that I said goodbye to this rock star? Not a day goes by where I don't think about you. We had a relationship like no other father and daughter. We went though so much together and always came out the other side. Hope your looking down on us all and seeing that we all miss you far to much. Not only where you my dad but you where the father figure to Natalie and Rachel and always there to give advice and be so proud of their achievements. Dobby still looks for his grandad when we are in the house. Tanis is well looked after and getting spoilt rotten with mints, apples and carrots. We stand in the field and take about you. The other day my phone rang when I was in the field and he looked around I'm sure he was looking to see where you where because he could here your guitar playing from my phone but couldn't see you. I love you dad and miss my daddy so much. Going to the caravan today which was one of your favourite places just to be close to you and next week we are in Devon to celebrate my birthday, but we will be going to Buckland Beacon to visit you. Keep rocking dad, daddy's princess loves her daddy so much.

Merry Christmas dad. Not the same as when we usually speak on Christmas day. The last week or so have been so difficult the amount of presents I've seen and thought my dad would love that but your not here to receive it (saved a few pound there then) 1st Christmas without you is going to be difficult but I want you to know your 3 Gillison girls and of course Dobby (who still looks for your slippers) miss you so much and talk about you every day.
