Thank you to everyone who showed their lovely faces at our spectacular Supper Club - this time was Burns Night! ๐ฅ
It was such a great night, with lots of fun, laughter and even some Scottish bag pipers! ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐ฅ
Whiskey was of course on the table, and I couldn't have spent the night with a better group of people! โค๏ธ
My handy entourage of helpers and I suprised us all with a menu of;

This past month, we have been reading 'The Family Holiday' by Shalini Boland. Some people enjoyed it and others didn't, whereas I would give it a 5/5 for me as it kept me interested throughout - unlike a lot of books out there!
We welcomed 5 new members this month as well! Welcome to the club guys, it's great to have you here โค๏ธ
For the following month, we will be reading 'Fifty Fifty' by Steve Cavanagh which looks to be a thrilling mystery, let's see who enjoys the book this month!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves this month, especially with our edible spread of this delicious and HUGE cheese and charcuterie board! ๐ง๐ฅ๐๐๐ฅ

Yesterday's Upholstery Workshop with Tracey Reed's went absolutely amazing! ๐โญ๏ธ
We all got busy, measuring, trimming, cutting, and building our very own footstool! โ๏ธ๐งถ
Everyone enjoyed a lunch of leek and potato soup, with various sandwiches and then finished off with a lovely cake! ๐ฐ๐
Thank you so much for Tracey and John for providing all the materials and knowledge for this class, it was a brilliant day and everyone went home with their own footstools and a huge smile on their faces! โค๏ธ

Baby Shower Buffet
Saturday we catered for a wonderful baby shower for some of our regular customers! ๐ถ๐ผโค๏ธ
๐ฅณ Congratulations Charlotte, good luck! We hope for all the best with your new baby! ๐ฅณ
We worked hard on our buffet spread with all foods being locally sourced and homemade!
On the menu was;

Friday night's Supper Club was amazing! ๐ฅโค๏ธ
It was the last Supper Club of the year and so we went out with a bang! ๐ฅ
Welcomed with a glass of fizz, we even had some new-comers!
Andy, our chef for the evening, from Wild Garlic Private Dining was again absolutely fantastic, he always suprises us with his scrumptious food and of course he did us proud again! ๐ฅฐ๐พ
On the menu;
๐Freshly made bread with whipped sage butter
๐ Goats cheese cigar, allotment beetroots, herb aioli and toasted hazelnuts
๐ Roasted wild duck breast, leg hot pot, savoy cabbage, parsnip and blackberry sauce
๐ 'Elephant's Foot' profiteroles, praline cream and chocolate orange sauce

Our musical duet was "The Siblings" who were just incredible and really set the atmosphere for the nights event! ๐ถ๐ค

December's Book Club was a brilliant evening of merryness and Christmas cheer! ๐ ๐
Over the course of the previous month, we had been reading "The Clockmaker'sDaughter" by 'Kate Morton' unfortunately, most of us didn't finish it and so ranks 2/5 on our scale ๐ข
However, the night became merry as it was our Christmas Party! ๐ฅณ๐ฅ everyone had on their Christmas jumpers and we all enjoyed mulled wine and raffle tickets on arrival. ๐ท
Feasting on Christmas sandwiches ๐ฅช ๐ we spent the evening cocktail making and learning how to measure, shake and make with Jamie Charlie Alex and Emily from various local bars ๐
We all made cocktails for Christmas! ๐น๐ธ๐ท
We also celebrated the birthdays of Grace and Janet Woop Woop! ๐ฅณ๐พ an amazing cake was baked for them by both Grace and Denise ๐๐๐ฐ and Grace even went on to win a raffle prize later on!

As the evening came to a close, I gave everyone a beautiful bookmark that I had made - a great pressie for the Book Club! ๐ ๐

willow weaving Workshop!
Sunday's Willow Workshop lead by the wonderful Julie, was amazing ๐๐
Julie from Pip Cottage taught us all how to twist and weave some spectacular stars and angels whilst we enjoyed our brews and homemade cakes! โ๏ธ๐ฐ
We all had a right good morning, chatting and networking with each other and there was some amazing results from everyone crafty hands! ๐
Julie even made me some mini stars to add to my garland in The Granary! And my friend made me a lovely hat to keep my head nice and toasty!

Everyone's creations looked fabulous ๐๐ฝ with many different ideas coming to life!
We saw people shape flowers ๐ stars ๐ Holly, mistletoe and even music!

Sunday the 1st of December welcomed a fine dining Christmas dinner in our cosy Granary! ๐ฅณ
It was absolutely fantastic with everyone's friendly faces welcoming in the December air! โค๏ธ
With a day of celebration and amazing food, our live pianist really set the mood of the coming month! ๐น๐
Being welcomed with a glass of mulled wine,
On the menu was;
Chicken liver patรฉ with brandy and port, paired with toasted French stick and prosecco and cherry chutney ๐๐๐ฅ
Traditional Christmas roasted turkey with roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, Brussels sprouts, chantilly carrots and broccoli ๐๐ฅ๐ฅฆ๐ฅ๐ท
And for dessert, a blueberry crumble cheesecake awaited! ๐ซ๐
Finally, we finished the afternoon with a brew and some macaroons โ๏ธ๐ฌ

Our Wreath-making workshop was a great hit with our guests! ๐๐
The cosy Granary, ready with the fire roaring, was covered in Winter greenery. The guests were welcomed and we all sat down to the smell of pine! ๐ฅ
Sam Edwards from Flower Glade Sam Edwards in Longridge was our florist of choice, bringing along a huge variety of greenery and decorations from natural pine cones, cinnamon sticks and oranges to modern baubles and twinkly bits so that everyone could make their wreath stand out!
We finished the afternoon with a festive afternoon tea paired with mulled wine or spiced apple! ๐ท๐
Oh! - and we also found a STICK INSECT hiding amongst the greenery! ๐คฃ Don't worry we released it back outside and after a bit of research, yes, you can find them in the UK!

Last Tuesday we had a brilliant Wire Flowers Workshop! ๐
We all gathered inside the cosy interiors of The Granary to learn this fabulous new skill that Laura was more than happy to share with us! โค๏ธ
After enjoying an evening of twisting and weaving our way through the wire and shaping them into our desired shapes, we enjoyed hot chocolate and a warm sticky toffee apple crumble bar paired with ice cream ๐๐ซ๐ฅง
What a great Workshop this was, I'd LOVE to host another one! Look at all the amazing results that our talented guests made! ๐ ๐
