Friday night's Supper Club was amazing! 🥂❤️
It was the last Supper Club of the year and so we went out with a bang! 💥
Welcomed with a glass of fizz, we even had some new-comers!
Andy, our chef for the evening, from Wild Garlic Private Dining was again absolutely fantastic, he always suprises us with his scrumptious food and of course he did us proud again! 🥰🍾
On the menu;
🍁Freshly made bread with whipped sage butter
🍁 Goats cheese cigar, allotment beetroots, herb aioli and toasted hazelnuts
🍁 Roasted wild duck breast, leg hot pot, savoy cabbage, parsnip and blackberry sauce
🍁 'Elephant's Foot' profiteroles, praline cream and chocolate orange sauce

Our musical duet was "The Siblings" who were just incredible and really set the atmosphere for the nights event! 🎶🎤

December's Book Club was a brilliant evening of merryness and Christmas cheer! 🎄 🎅
Over the course of the previous month, we had been reading "The Clockmaker'sDaughter" by 'Kate Morton' unfortunately, most of us didn't finish it and so ranks 2/5 on our scale 😢
However, the night became merry as it was our Christmas Party! 🥳🥂 everyone had on their Christmas jumpers and we all enjoyed mulled wine and raffle tickets on arrival. 🍷
Feasting on Christmas sandwiches 🥪 🍗 we spent the evening cocktail making and learning how to measure, shake and make with Jamie Charlie Alex and Emily from various local bars 😍
We all made cocktails for Christmas! 🍹🍸🍷
We also celebrated the birthdays of Grace and Janet Woop Woop! 🥳🍾 an amazing cake was baked for them by both Grace and Denise 😋🎂🍰 and Grace even went on to win a raffle prize later on!
🥳Happy Birthday to you both we hope you had an amazing day! 🥳
As the evening came to a close, I gave everyone a beautiful bookmark that I had made - a great pressie for the Book Club! 📖 🎁

willow weaving Workshop!
Sunday's Willow Workshop lead by the wonderful Julie, was amazing 😍🎄
Julie from Pip Cottage taught us all how to twist and weave some spectacular stars and angels whilst we enjoyed our brews and homemade cakes! ☕️🍰
We all had a right good morning, chatting and networking with each other and there was some amazing results from everyone crafty hands! 🌟
Julie even made me some mini stars to add to my garland in The Granary! And my friend made me a lovely hat to keep my head nice and toasty!

The 3rd of December saw a busy Granary with everyone welcomed in from the cold with a glass of mulled wine and a slice of homemade cake! 🍷🎂
Laura ran this Wire Wreath Workshop where we all learnt how to shape, bend and twist our measly wires into fantastic shapes! 😀
Everyone's creations looked fabulous 👌🏽 with many different ideas coming to life!
We saw people shape flowers 💐 stars 🌟 Holly, mistletoe and even music!

Sunday the 1st of December welcomed a fine dining Christmas dinner in our cosy Granary! 🥳
It was absolutely fantastic with everyone's friendly faces welcoming in the December air! ❤️
With a day of celebration and amazing food, our live pianist really set the mood of the coming month! 🎹😍
Being welcomed with a glass of mulled wine,
On the menu was;
Chicken liver paté with brandy and port, paired with toasted French stick and prosecco and cherry chutney 🍒🍗🥖
Traditional Christmas roasted turkey with roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, Brussels sprouts, chantilly carrots and broccoli 🍗🥔🥦🥕🐷
And for dessert, a blueberry crumble cheesecake awaited! 🫐😋
Finally, we finished the afternoon with a brew and some macaroons ☕️🍬

Our Wreath-making workshop was a great hit with our guests! 🎄🎁
The cosy Granary, ready with the fire roaring, was covered in Winter greenery. The guests were welcomed and we all sat down to the smell of pine! 🥂
Sam Edwards from Flower Glade Sam Edwards in Longridge was our florist of choice, bringing along a huge variety of greenery and decorations from natural pine cones, cinnamon sticks and oranges to modern baubles and twinkly bits so that everyone could make their wreath stand out!
We finished the afternoon with a festive afternoon tea paired with mulled wine or spiced apple! 🍷🍎
Oh! - and we also found a STICK INSECT hiding amongst the greenery! 🤣 Don't worry we released it back outside and after a bit of research, yes, you can find them in the UK!

Last Tuesday we had a brilliant Wire Flowers Workshop! 💐
We all gathered inside the cosy interiors of The Granary to learn this fabulous new skill that Laura was more than happy to share with us! ❤️
After enjoying an evening of twisting and weaving our way through the wire and shaping them into our desired shapes, we enjoyed hot chocolate and a warm sticky toffee apple crumble bar paired with ice cream 🍎🍫🥧
What a great Workshop this was, I'd LOVE to host another one! Look at all the amazing results that our talented guests made! 👏 😍

botanical casting!
🪴 On Sunday 29th September, we had two Botanical castings Workshop lead by Tracy Reed 🏺
Opening up with the smaller rounded tiles, we rolled out some clay and rolled our chosen plants over the top, imprinting the variety of shapes and textures into our clay. ☘️🌾
We also made a larger plaque to feature our favourite seasonal plants and once they were all done, we poured in the plaster and let them set! 🏺
These were the results! 😍⭐️Don't they look amazing! 👌

Last Saturday we had a wonderfully unique painting class for a family where they painted some absolutely FABULOUS prosecco bottles! ❤️🍾
Spending some quality time together, these lovely ladies showcased their brilliant art skills on prosecco bottles which turned out amazing! 🎨
They were then treated to some 'reyt good fodder' with an Afternoon Tea in the Granary! 🥪🧁

Jacqueline's Chocolate Workshop
Yesterday's Chocolate Workshop with Jacqueline's chocolates was a blast! 😋❤️
We learnt about all the different flavours of chocolate we had available and why they work so well with chocolate, and most importantly, what temperature to melt it at! 🍫
We then made the wonderful truffle filling learning what amount of alcohol was needed to be perfected, and if we weren't using alcohol, then just the perfect filling! 😍😋
I added Disaronno into my chocolate filling! 🍾
Whilst waiting for our chocolates to set, we chatted over a brew and a cake 🍰 and once the chocolates were ready, we dipped them into more chocolate and decorated the tops with various different sugars, crumbs, finely chopped dried Strawberries, sprinkles - you name it! 😋 🥰
After putting our final chocolates in our little display boxes - labels made by us! - we then had a little quiz whilst tasting different chocolates - I Won! 🏆
Thank you to all those who showed up, we had a fabulous time in The Granary!
