Apologies that my social media has been a bit quiet over the summer while I’ve had 2 little people at home, but I’ve still been working away on orders and I’m ready to take some more.
Prices from 1st September are £20 for the Small Frames (20cm sq) and £25 for the Large Frames (25cm sq) both sizes available in Black, White or Grey.

I’m sorry I’ve been a bit quiet on here over the last few weeks but rest assured I’ve been busy working away in the background, there just hasn’t been mush to share.

However today I’m very excited to be able to share with you these colours samples that I have just finished working on this afternoon. These show all the bunting colours combinations which you can choose from when ordering your personalised frame.

I started with all the combinations of bright colours until a good friend pointed out that some people (including her) don’t really want things to be bright so I have worked on some more muted colours too! I’m glad I listened to her as the white, grey and craft one is definitely one of my favourites! Which one do you like best?

I thought it was about time I shared with you what sort of Frames Celebrate it Frame it will be making. Well this is the first design, made to ‘Celebrate’ those precious new arrivals.
The bunting can be in your choice of colours, the details can be personalised and there will be a space to display one of your favourites photos!

The Party Works will very soon be rebranded as ‘Celebrate it, Frame It!’ I’ll be making personalised photos frames to mark and preserve those special moments in our lives. Think birth announcements, weddings, special birthdays, house moves, christenings, confirmations, graduations etc! Examples of designs with be coming soon and I’m hoping to open a new Etsy store in June! Watch this space!

Well over 12 months have passed and I’ve still not entirely decided what direction The Party Works will take next, but I had a recent request from 3 very special ladies for some party bags inspired by a certain wizard so I couldn’t resist seeing what I could do!

The girls seemed happy with the result, everything in the bags (all 40 of them!) was either edible, recyclable or useful so hopefully parents will approve of them too!

Happy New Year to everyone who follows .party.works and welcome to 2023!
Firstly I’d like to apologise for the lack of posts over the last 6 months. Building work at home has meant I’ve had very limited access to my craft space! I’m pleased to say my desk is now almost clear!

Secondly I’d like to announce a change of direction for The Party Works. Due to the rise in costs of various things I’ll no longer be making filled party bags, as the price I’d have to charge for them is quite frankly ridiculous!

So I’m now looking for inspiration for ‘what next!?!’ I have a few ideas up my sleeve but please shout out if there is anything party (or craft) related that you would love to be able to buy locally and I’ll see what I can do!

I can’t wait to get back to my craft desk once I’ve dusted off all my equipment and unpacked the last few boxes!!!

So Lily decided she didn’t want a birthday party this year but a week before her birthday she suddenly decided she wanted to see her friends! 🤦‍♀️ We managed to arrange a very last minute ‘gathering’ (still not a party because she didn’t want a party🤣) and made some equally as last minute treat envelopes with her very own personalised stickers!

They went down a treat and it got me thinking would this be something that people would be interested in ordering as a lower cost alternative to personalised party bags?!?! 🤷‍♀️

Let me know your thoughts on them in the comments and if there is enough interest I’ll be happy to start making them for others!!!

(I love that Lily was the inspiration for me to set up the party works this time last year and she is still inspiring new products ideas 12 months on!!!)

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these videos of my workspace! This is definitely my happy place and I love spending time in here designing and making bags and invitations for everyone! Today I’ve spent a few hours tidying up and setting up my new machine and lighting. I’m really excited to get going with some new ideas with my new setup and luckily there is still space for the giant Stickman!👍🏻🥳🛍💕

Each time I spend a few hours in here it seems to get a little bit more organised! Next weeks mission is product design!

The results of this weekend’s declutter! I’ve still got lots of finishing touches to add but I love that I’m sharing my new workspace with the first thing that I ever helped to make (the miniature set of drawers) and the biggest thing I have ever made (the 8ft tall Stickman!) Can’t wait to get working!
