We are kicking off 2024 Festive season at the winter market. Starting from Friday 1st November to Sunday 3rd November, join us for a fun-packed weekend with live music, amazing food and drink, and over 100 stalls!

Friday 1st: 12pm—7pm
Saturday 2nd: 10am—5pm
Sunday 3rd: 10am—4:30pm

You can purchase your tickets in advance on Holker Hall’s website, or simply turn up on the day and pay at the gate- under 12s are free!

The first of our Applestore Cafe X gourmet pop-up dining nights will be held on Friday 15th November🍴

For our first Foodie Friday, we welcome Adam & Liam Brandon to The Applestore kitchen. The Brandon brothers have been part of the Striped Kitchen team for the past 2 years & have a breadth of experience between them. Adam has worked at the iconic Nutters restaurant alongside Andrew Nutter, The Bull & Bear in Manchester for Tom Kerridge & at The Earle at Hale for Sunday Kitchen’s host, Simon Rimmer. He was head chef at the Derbyshire Life ‘Dining Pub of the Year’, The Old Hall in Chinley, where he gathered many accolades.

Brother Liam worked at The Bells of Peover in Knutsford for Ian Rudge, helping achieve its first rosette. Ian moved to London and took Liam with him to the Jumeriah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge where he worked in the two rosette restaurant, The Rib Room. Tasked with bringing it to 3 AA rosettes, this was achieved after a year. He also worked for Tom Kerridge at Kerridge’s Bar & Grill, similarly with 3 AA rosettes. He has worked in Australia at Clarkes North Beach and during Covid spent 6 months feeding no less than 650 staff members at a gold mine in the Outback.

Now both brothers ply their trade for both Manchester United & Manchester City - of course alongside The Striped Kitchen!

We hope you’ll be as excited as we are to welcome them to serve their spectacular menu on what promises to be a fantastic evening, as we kick off our Fabulous Foodie Friday events!
