LETS DO IT AGAIN!

Preston DJ Social & .yourhousemusic will be back at on the 29th of September 3PM - 7PM, drinking tea, spinning tunes & having a catch up.

We want to help DJs use their passion for music as part of a positive mental health regime. We spend most of our time in dark rooms, standing in the corner on our own, thinking about what other people may want to hear. The past four months flipping that on it's head & seeing everyone come together for a laugh on a Sunday has been amazing. The new venue suits the vibe soo well & the community keeps growing. 😍

Once again we've got support from & will be keeping you posted on more exciting news in the next few days. In the mean time, catch you on the 29th. 😊

🤯🤯🤯MASSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT🤯🤯🤯

Buzzing to announce that we have just agreed support from to supply our socials with event standard Pioneer DJ equipment, starting this Sunday.

It's Preston DJ Socials mission to create safe spaces outside of regular industry environments for DJs to socialise & play music. We believe DJs of all abilities should be able to use their passion as part of a positive mental health regime.

However, we also recognise the talent of our attendees & want do more to help their careers. Pioneer DJ has been supplying DJ equipment across the world for over three decades; with a product range that takes DJs from the bedroom to the mainstage. For many in Lancashire though, access to the best equipment is limited - even our club DJs don’t come into contact with top end equipment as frequently as their major city peers.

We believe this puts them at a disadvantage & want to level the playing field.

Thanks to stage one of this agreement, Pioneer DJ & Preston DJ Social will be providing free access to event standard equipment at all of our future events. So, next time you come down to decompress, talk to everyone & play some tunes, you’ll be doing so on the best gear in the industry. 🤩

Our first event at our new home is at is on Sunday the 18th of August 4PM-8PM, see you all there!

Hoping to expand our Mental health awareness & qualifications as the Socials grow. Today completed his two day course at LCC County Hall Preston. Wether you're looking to learn new skills or improve on existing knowledge in mental health, the course is very insightful & engaging.

P-A-C are offering a number of free courses across the county. if you or anyone you know would like to enrol, check out their website for details.

Super proud of .yourhousemusic supporting open deck at on the 10th of October.
If anyone from this way wants to go, I'm sure we could sort out a mini bus together, cut travel costs. Go for a dance, show support & hopefully get a chance to play? 🤞🏼

VENUE ANNOUNCEMENT! Sunday 18th of August we'll be hosting our first Hang Out at our new home in the events space at

"Chew's Yard, is the latest and largest piece of the Market Street Social jigsaw, a project with the aim of transforming an unloved, neglected part of the city centre into a vibrant social and cultural destination. 

Named after an alleyway linking Friargate to Market Street West, Chew’s Yard is made up of 3 areas. A large food hall with 5 different food traders, an events space for live music, DJs and a range of cultural activities and a beautiful hidden garden.

Probably best described as shabby chic, the modernisation of the 2 dilapidated workshops still retain the charm of their industrial heritage."

Been a hectic couple of weeks & as you know in this industry, got to “make hay while the sunshines”. Belated as it is, just wanted to do an appreciation post & say thank you to everyone who came to the first DJ Social last month & everyone who helped out on the day.

Was great to meet new faces, spend time with people I’ve got to know over the years & see everyone having a laugh outside of work. Support & presence is much appreciated, have a lovely Sunday. 😁🤟
