A wonderful morning creating & . The brief was to create ‘just picked’ flowers with flowers from our cutting garden; cosmos, ammi, flowering mint. One of mr favourite bouquets I’ve ever created with lots of texture and muted tones. More pics to follow

We are only growing a small proportion of our flowers and they are currently supplementing our other sources flowers. But from next Spring (fingers crossed) we will have more of our own flowers growing in our new field in West Sussex.
The plan is very loose at the moment while we find our feet but the plan is to have a field where brides can come and find inspiration for the flowers, local florists can find interesting stems & the local community can buy locally grown flowers.
We are only in the early stages of bringing you but by September we hope to have our polytunnel up and the first Spring bulbs going in at the end of the Autumn. Follow our journey …..

Our cutting garden is finally in full bloom & we are trying out lots of varieties in preparation for next year when we will have our own FLOWER FIELD starting in Spring 2025
We are hoping to have a polytunnel full of flowers in the Spring & a field full of flowers in the Summer.
Our next stop is a wonderful rural barn sale where we will have fresh flowers. Then we are back into a full diary of weddings for the rest of July & August and talking to lots of brides for 2025! Oh and getting a field ready for growing. Follow our flower journey
Tomorrow we will be packing the van ready to head to . Thursday is set up day; the van is emptied, a mess is made & hopefully, a beautiful stand is created. We are creating a ‘Cottage Garden’ filling our stand with old terracotta, galvanised planters, plants & cut flowers.

We are packing up to come to Somerset next week. We have to be collecting garden treasures & have lots of unusual galvanised for Summer planting!
We will be creating ‘a cottage garden’ with cottage garden plants, flowers & all things floral
There is still time to buy tickets to visit next Friday & Saturday. The weather looks like it’s going to be kind so ‘down tools’ for the day and head to Somerset
We have been a little quiet but we are very busy behind the scenes. New for next year we are going to be growing cut flowers. We have found a wonderful patch in West Sussex and will be preparing this for Autumn planting and sowing. The poly tunnel will be going up and I hope by early Spring next year we will have lots of flowers to share with you.
This has been on the to-do list (it’s rather long!) but feel like now is the time with huge, spiralling costs from the wonderful Dutch who I have loved working with but I feel now it’s time to florist in a different way.
It’s a huge learning curve for me but I love a challenge.

Colour! The trend for this year seems to be pales with ‘pops of colours’! I’m loving adding colour to my flowers and I’m growing lots of colour so looking forward to sharing my flowers later in the season. We need some sun!!
We are creating this week for a weekend in London so will share pictures & then we are off to Somerset for Summer Fair. Are you coming?
Our wedding weekend is complete. We have collected all props & they are packed away in the workshop ready for our next Summer projects.
We incorporated lots of plants into this weekend’s styling and it added such charm to the marquee. We filled geums, foxgloves, poppies & herbs to crates and old galvanised troughs to create mini gardens in the seating areas.

What a wonderful week & weekend. A lot of hard work; garland making, Bouquet making, etc etc! But it all came together for the wonderful La Fosse family who were just the most heaven clients. Thank you team including who kept me sane throughout!

Wonderful evening here in West Sussex enjoying the calm! We have a busy week ahead. I’m really excited about next weekend’s wedding it’s everything I love about weddings a beautiful family, beautiful church & venue & creating with flowers & plants which I love! Tomorrow we are plant sourcing & ordering our flowers ……
Busy behind the scenes this week getting ready for an English Village wedding in Kirdford. We create the flowers, supply the props & source plants for styling. We have chosen these beautiful Geums which we found Plant Fair this weekend. These along with foxgloves will decorate little spots in the old fashioned marquee. So when you see a wedding all looking lovely we have done weeks of preparation to make sure it’s just perfect!
Back in the workshop getting ready for this week’s wedding tomorrow and then creating flowers in the beautiful village of Wisborough Green, West Sussex at the weekend. Lots of cuttings from home today the garden has come alive at last!
We created our ‘flower & plant shop’ at the weekend. I always want to bring a little nostalgia to my stand with a nod to the ‘village fete’ that was the inspiration for my Spring stand .
A huge thank you to my sister who has created the most beautiful fair bringing together British Brands in stunning locations.
We now focus on wedding for a few weeks but our creative brain now looks towards the Summer Fair. Next week we plant out all our Summer annuals so I’m hoping we will have our very OWN cut flowers at the next fair! We have worked hard in the last few months sowing, watering and growing our own cut flowers so fingers crossed the sun will shine soon!
What a weekend! We spent the weekend creating which I love! We were at the magical creating our seasonal ‘all things floral’ stand with cut flowers, seasonal cottage garden flowers plants & florals. Well done team for putting together another fantastic event we can’t wait for Summer Fair in June in SOMERSET, which we love! Planning and buying will commence next week!
& we created a country wedding with beautiful locally grown flowers for the beautiful Stead family. Next week we are back to weddings with a wedding . A first visit for us so we are super excited to be creating in the woods just down the road & a wedding in the picturesque village of Wisborough. Behind the scenes all next week

The weather has been so cold and miserable we have decided to bring some colour to with our selection of locally grown flowers! The fair opens on Friday you will find us in the Garden Galleries so come and see us!
Wonderful day in the courtyard with our cut flowers & seasonal plants; cosmos, cornflowers, sweet peas, geraniums. The cafe is open Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10-4 for breakfast & lunch and the courtyard is wonderful, nestled at the bottom of the Downs.

Our greenhouse is filling up and we are starting to garden off many of our annuals ready for planting out at the end of the month. Fingers crossed it will have warmed up by then. There is still time to sow now so you have cut flowers all Summer. We have added a ‘Cut flowers for drying’ which contains Strawflowers and Limonium so you can cut and dry for Autumn and Winter decorating

We were going to be filling the courtyard at Sullington Manor Barn with flowers, plants and our vintage garden finds BUT the weather is forecast to be awful! So we will still be there BUT with a selection of Easter flowers, Sweet Peas and Easter Wreaths!
