Meet the Team - Creative Director, Julia Rogers

Julia has a background in education which closely aligns with her own art practice producing work in 2D and 3D. Having worked on festivals in many capacities from making and installing artwork, working with performative elements and organising the visual arts and curating for a festival of Art, Music and Science. She now runs an art studio as a joint venture in Ramsgate acting as a hub of creative potential for Thanet.

Meet the Team - Technical Director, Darryn de la Soul

Darryn de la Soul has been working in the live music industry for two decades – starting out as a sound engineer and moving on to production management. She also runs Soulsound, a membership scheme supporting sound engineers with training and providing PLI for freelancers, and MiFoodbank in Margate. She regularly teaches employability and career development at colleges, universities and online.

Meet the Team - Producer, Gemma Dempsey

Gemma has had various roles in the music business since the late 80's; as Music Supervisor, Music Publisher and Radio Producer at KCRW in Los Angeles. Her background in events began with the LA based charity Camp Pacific Heartland and she is now producing Ramsgate Festival of Sound, Ramsgate Through the Senses and developing 'Winter Safari' for Powell-Cotton Museum with Sonda Productions. Gemma also hosts Soho Radio's 'Composer's on Film'.
