Long overdue post, but I wanted to share some of the requests we get here (which u might’ve seen on my stories beginning of the month)..I was asked to make a bouquet (as close as possible) to the wedding one so I jumped to the challenge! Oh my..was it harder than I anticipated!? And I’ll tell u why.. I didn’t make the initial bouquet and having to reproduce the bride’s and florist’s vision but still add some of my touch..mhhh..hardest challenge to date! But I’m happy I did it (and of course that the client was happy!) Requests like this show ur versatility, uniqueness ..helps u grow as a florist, and mostly prioritise client’s vision! Have a floral challenge for me? 📧 [email protected]

Favourite Flower..

People often ask me what’s my favourite flower and a big pause follows as I usually have to think (prioritise in my head really) 😅 I love many flowers through the seasons but will always be top of my list..they are frilly..they come in an array or stunning colours but mostly..they smell divine!
Flowering window is not great but I need to learn how to succession sow them and hopefully I can prolong the season 😁 do comment advice on this please 🙏🏻

From garden to vase..
Haven’t had much time to tend to my this season yet it’s been so giving.I love seeing a flower go from seed to vase, I love growing for different occasions as an extra touch to an event.. but I’ve been so busy tending to other people’s gardens that I neglected mine 🙈 still ..it has been good to me! Left it do it’s thing and it sure does bring me all sorts of joys and colours week after week! Slugs and weather craziness on the side, I’m so grateful for every bloom..it is teaching me resilience and seasonality and even if it doesn’t work this year, I can do better the next! Anyone should try growing even if one plant..best lesson in hope and resilience ☺️

When things are slow..

I’ve been taking a moment to re-assess..wedding season is in full swing yet I’ve been quiet (on here), I’ve been going through a lot of social media frustration. As much as I love it and it inspires me all the time, the pressure of posting, being present seems too distracting and time consuming (specially for a one-woman business).
I want my clients to have the best of my services and I want to enjoy the process without having to rush or adjust to a social media pressure.
I will still share some of the floral creations but will do it at my own pase..I am ever so grateful to everyone who’s trusting me with their floral designs and to all of you for being patient and understanding! But if there’s anyone else there feeling burnout or under too much ‘social media’ pressure of being present constantly..I see u, I feel u..just trust yourself and ur uniqueness..not being a crowd follower is cool too 😁

Tulip Galore..

Making the most of the season and appreciating every bloom while it lasts!
Spring is my ever favourite season. It starts with little pockets of sunshine (crocuses& daffodils ) and then bursts into colours (tulips) and as the weather gets warmer, ranunculus come along, aquilegias,irises..! Oh just so much beauty!
What is your favourite season?

Sympathy Flowers

It’s part of our business I haven’t spoke about much, I find it quite..personal
This flowers were made for someone very close to my heart and my family (hence I got the pictures approved for posting) I really wanted to go all out for this great man, he has left behind such beautiful legacy. It was an honour to be able to pay my respects and felt like the flower tributes were a glimpse of the heavenly garden he is resting in now!

Spring Wreaths..

Here’s some of the wreaths I made this spring so far. They are all on moss base and used lots of bulbs, dried flowers, foraged blossom!
The last one is a sympathy wreath and I find it can be a wonderful idea for a long missed family member who’s watching from above!
There’s options for everyone! If you’d like one or interested in our workshops, keep an eye on our stories or head to the website to check for updates!

I want to talk about BELONGING (not much of a floral post as u can see) Belonging to a community, a faith or a group with similar ideology
I moved to over 6 years ago without knowing one single soul. I was a new mum, both families abroad. It was a hard move. Lots of challenges physical, emotional..I knew I had to find a safe place, and for me it was where I met some lovely ladies who now turned into the sweetest aunties to my boys. I am ever so grateful to the Timeout Group and for all the lovely people I met..if you are not yet part of a community..drag yourself to some groups, be it , a gym class. It could be that you have a passion/hobby for something and there’s no better place than a room full of people that speak your language 😁 Happy Sunday!

A little update as I’ve been quiet here lately..busy planning Christmas wreaths workshops.
Some of you might know but for the new followers, I have a little confession to make..after flower arranging, my ‘other little obsession’ 🫣 is growing flowers..lots and lots! Thank God my garden is not that big..it would be filled with beds of flowers. So much so that my boys are not allowed to play football and we can’t have pets
It’s such a fulfilling experience though, the seasonality of it; some things die..some return in spring..a bit like life, some things work out, some don’t only to give way for better ones..ahh this rain is making me melancolic! I won’t bore u anymore..back to seed inventory and planning the crops for next year! So if you have a wedding or event and would like a natural, organic touch to it, give me a shout out! I can maybe even grow something specially for ur occasion 😉

This morning we celebrated in my son’s school so I wanted to take a minute and be grateful for my (it’s only fit!)
Grateful for the joy it brings to everyone receiving the flowers. That’s why I started..during Covid, by sharing bunches of flowers with neighbours, friends..friends of friends who were going through tough times.
And though it seems like the business is moving more towards weddings and events lately, fear not..I will still be growing flowers, I will still be sharing all the seasonality the garden will produce!
So as the garden is slowly getting ready for the winter rest, watch this space..Christmas wreath workshops are coming up and other exciting bits so stay tuned!

I’ve been meaning to post this from last week, just after the but then some nasty virus hit our home.
So here it is, my thoughts on attending a wedding fair…
Personally, I didn’t know that to expect as it was the first time I attended as a but I was pleasantly surprised. It was quite a busy day and the location was so beautiful.
I enjoyed chatting with the couples about what’s in season, about their location how those things play such important role on their overall look and mostly budget.
Surprisingly, more than half of the couples haven’t yet secured a venue, didn’t have a set date (just an idea of what they would like) so it’s fair to say it was their first stop after getting engaged! And what a perfect place to start. Lots of small businesses and local suppliers which I think it’s important to consider.
The only small negative I would say was that the advertising of the event could be done better on social media. Most couples came with someone (parents, grandparents even) so I had the feeling it was something recommended to them not that they came across it on Facebook or Instagram (where everyone draws their inspiration from these days so no point hiding it) 😅
Would I attend again? Most definitely..I loved, loved meeting newly engaged couples, playing a small part in helping them plan their day in the best possible way was so exciting!
Would I recommended to couples..absolutely! It is the first and best place to be when u start thinking of a wedding (and not the only! Any event really). There is so much to considered and u have them all under one roof!
So yes..check for new dates in 2024 and if you need help with floral design..I’m here happy to help. My agenda is now open for so drop me an email of DM and let’s start planning you big day!

Festival Floral Ideas 🌈

Don’t know where to start with designing your festival themed wedding florals? Take a look at my top ideas and tips

🌸Season:
The season will sway your choices of colour and blooms if you want to use British flowers. Take a look at weddings from the month you want to get married in or message me to have a chat about what flowers are in season for your wedding date!

🌸Venue:
The size and style of your venue will determine what floral arrangements you will want. If you are having a tipi wedding reception then hanging or overhead floral arrangements are amazing for adding height and colour to your tipi. Or if you are having an outdoor ceremony then a floral arch and lots of ground flowers like meadows will bring beautiful colours to the space.

🌸Traditional or non traditional:
This is up to you! Do you want more chilled festival vibes with delicate garden-style florals or do you want a vibrant and over-the-top festival aesthetic with huge colourful floral installations for a dramatic effect?

Festival inspired weddings are unique, fun and creative - I loved making those for Jemma last August!

Want to know my story?

Here’s how I became Wild Bloom by Ella ...

It all began when my sister Miriam Gozman-Pop started her floral business in Romania, which was a beautiful family affair and I of course joined in! Whether we're in the UK or Romania, we seize every opportunity to collaborate, inspire each other, and let our creative ideas flourish.

My sister holds a special place in my heart as the driving force behind my passion for floral design. She has always been there, encouraging me to reach for the stars and supporting me with unwavering love throughout my incredible journey creating Wild Bloom by Ella. Her uplifting spirit and constant push for excellence has shaped me into the florist I am today, and I couldn't be more grateful.🌺

Everything I create and design in my business has a meaning, and that goes for my business name and logo too. From the flowers I chose to include in my logo to represent the blooms that my grandmother used to grow in her garden, to my nickname 'Ella' that my young family members used to call me, every part of my floral business is a piece of me and my personality.

So, as I bring your floral dreams to life, know that every petal and every arrangement is infused with love, inspiration, and boundless creativity. If you want to know what I can do to enhance your wedding decor with gorgeous flowers, send me a message and let’s chat! 🌷

When should you book your Florist?

Wondering when is the best time to start contacting suppliers for your wedding?

Planning your wedding is such an exciting time, and one important aspect is booking the vendors who will make your day extra special. The timing for this can vary based on a few factors, like the popularity of your wedding date, the size and complexity of your celebration, and, of course, your personal preferences. But don't worry, I'm here to help! 😁

As a general guideine, it's recommended to start booking your wedding vendors around 9 to 12 months before your big day. However, if you have a particular vendor in mind that you absolutely adore and can't imagine your wedding without, it might be a good idea to start even earlier.

Nevertheless, vendors often have some flexibility and can sometimes accommodate last-minute bookings. I always strive to accommodate as many bookings as possible because I understand that last-minute requests and unexpected events can arise at any time!

So are you ready to book your florist for your upcoming wedding? I still have some availability for 2023, so don't delay - send me a message today and let’s chat about your special day! 🌺

Everyone needs a Dream Team 🤍

It really does take a team to create dream weddings. Whether that be my boys at home supporting me and helping me grow gorgeous florals in the garden, or a team on the wedding day to help set up your floral arrangements. I am so lucky to be surrounded by beautiful people who love my work and support my passion of being a wedding florist.

I am reminiscing about this stunning wedding I designed and created with my sister Wild Bloom back home in Romania - it was a romantic wedding with lots of colour and show-stopping florals. I loved every minute of setting up the floral displays with my sister and seeing the overall wedding aesthetic coming together for our Bride! **special mention to my ‘jack-of-all-trades’ brother in law who makes sure everything is sturdy and steady!

If you are dreaming of a colourful wedding and want your flowers to reflect your colour scheme and personality - send me a DM today to start chatting! I can't wait to hear all the details of your wedding and start designing your bespoke florals!
