Evening everyone.

It is with great sadness that I have decided to close Tina's Meals.

I started with an idea to start a food business that would cater for the older generation and the infirm, food delivered hot to the door. Having been a carer, I've seen the food given to many OAPs and most of it was frozen rubbish.

We started a business to offer a service that gave customers a freshly cooked hot meal, delivered to your door at a very reasonable price.

We advertised on Facebook, delivered leaflets and flyers to care homes and for what ever reason, it just didn't take.

Our Sunday Roasts were extremely popular but it made Sundays hard work, we'd have so many orders and we often compromised on service, which is not what we set out to do.

So it is we deep regret that we have cooked and delivered our last meal.

Local businesses need to be supported unless they will fade and die allowing the bigger corporate companies to pick up the pieces.

We'd like to thank every single person that ordered from us, left a lovely message and recommendation and referred us to friends and family.

Good evening.

Here at Tina's Meal Prep & Delivery we provide a home cooked food delivery service, 7 days a week.

We have amongst other things on our menu, an OAP special, where you get a main meal, dessert and a soup for just £7. This deal extends to the infirm. So if you are just out of hospital and are unable to cook, then allow us to deliver a freshly cooked meal, to your door.

Fish n Chip Friday as well as our well received Sunday Roasts.

Just a post to say that we won't be delivering this weekend ( Friday through to and including Sunday)

The new website is now operational with a selection of new food options.

We also have an OAP special 'Main Meal, Pudding and a Soup' for just £7

We've had to change a couple of things, a minimum spend of £10 for free delivery, except on Sundays, where it will remain Free Delivery and a cap of 30 Roasts for delivery.

*We do not want to compromise on service and delivery and we have felt we have done that in recent weeks*

The new website has the option to ring our order line or email us with what you require, we take cash or card on delivery.

Please let us know what you think of the new site, get your Roast Dinners in as well as pass our details to people with elderly relatives who require a wholesome meal during the week

As we posted earlier, our website is getting a makeover and with its return will come the new wintery feel menu with some new meals, puddings, plenty of home made soups and a choice of meal size, except for Sunday Roasts, they will remain the same size, as everyone loves a belly filler on a Sunday.

Our new menu will be ready for Monday with hopefully a new website.

We have added some new meals and will also offer a smaller size to cater for OAPs and children.

We are taking orders for Friday and for our popular Sunday Roasts.

An Apology.

Yesterday, we encountered an issue during our delivery times and unfortunately, it pushed all our proposed delivery times back.

Yesterday was our busiest Sunday since we started and it showed that we needed extra resources, we will never compromise on quality of food and you should not have to wait longer than the stated delivery times.

This week, we are in talks of bigger premises and additional help on busier days.

Sorry to those few we were late with, we hope everyone enjoyed what was cooked and delivered and we will endeavour to not have an issue like yesterday again, we are new and learning all the time.

We started this service a few months ago and it has been extremely popular and we have been blown away from some of the comments that have been left on our page. We'd always set out to see how it went and how the menu was received, we know some meals are more popular than others. With that in mind, from October, we are going to introduce a menu that has more of an Autumn / Wintery feel to it. So we have our own ideas, but is there any specific meal that you'd like to see on the new menu, maybe a soup flavour or a range of pie fillings, let us know and we will add any that we will feel will benefit the menu.
