Hope your weekend has gone well

As well as being Fathers Day today it's also National Fudge Day.

I absolutely love fudge, a few years ago we went to fudge shop in Stow on The Wold, the fudge was amazing. I brought a bag for me and one for my Dad, he loved fudge too. Mine was rum and raisin, Dad's was vanilla.

This was a special memory for me today being Fathers Day.

We recently set up a Birthday Sleepover for two best friends using our lace wigwam, it was such fun to set up and knowing it was a first for the birthday girl made me it even more special.

It also got me thinking about Birthday’s and sleepovers when I was young.
I remember a sleepover, where we had sneaked to the shops and got a bagful of midnight feast treats and spent most the night talking, giggling and eating.

A plea for chocolate - On the 3rd December myself and members of Romania Link Charity No 1184160 will be holding a fund raiser at our local Winter Extravaganza and are in need of supplies for our chocolate tombola.

Last week we were invited to a Christmas Showcase event at the Voco Hotel in Reading.

It was great to see small local businesses given the opportunity to come together at a great venue and showcase their products. We also had a chance to sample their amazing Tasting Menu, delicious.

Thank you to Paul and his Team at Voco Reading, what a fantastic venue, great food and exceptional customer service.

If you are looking to organise a company Christmas/End of Year meal, then look them up.

Alternatively, if you are looking for an intimate venue without having to leave home, r, why not consider hiring a Christmas Igloo or booking a Christmas Sleepover in our gorgeous indoor teepees.

We still have few dates available for Christmas and New Year Bookings.

At the moment we are busy planning our Santa’s Grotto Igloo, can’t wait to see the children’s faces when they see how we’ve transformed their classroom.

What an extra special weekend, we set up our large Hygge Igloo for a baby shower.

This weekend has symbolised the strength of lasting friendship. This groups of girls have been friends since school and have remained a solid group, it was lovely to see how they celebrate together along with a very proud Grandparent to be as they look forward to welcoming a new addition. A beautiful setting to showcase the igloo. Just perfect.

The other half of our weekend was to attend a special birthday for the daughter of very long standing family friends. These connections are so important and fill my cup up!

We had a day off today and visited the Hurst Show, there were some really nice stalls. We brought some plants for the garden, a bird feeder and these gorgeous coasters by Fluidity by Lou just love the colours.

So whilst we took a weekend off to see in Manchester, our cake stands had an outing down to the coast to help celebrate a Hen Party.

It all looked a lot of fun, good luck to the Bride and Groom.

And we had a great time at the concert

Busy busy weekend, exhausted but happy.

We have had the most amazing weekend, helping create lasting memories with three hires going out this weekend.

A 40th Birthday hire, our client went for the package where you can have a whole load of fun decorating the igloo to your own style. We think the igloo looked amazing, our client’s garden completely completed the igloo.

Our second hire was a Baby Shower, the igloo looked amazing in situ, with all the internal décor which had to include a little boys clothes line, and baby boxes.

And our final one was for 7 little girls celebrating their friends 7th Birthday. They all had a fab time,never quite sure how much sleeping is done!

Congratulations to all our clients, we hope you have all enjoyed your very special events,thank you choosing Hygge Igloo Events.
