Last 6 sets delivered to Wokingham Hospital......thankfully the need for Scrubs has dwindled considerably.....I say 'thankfully' because that indicates success in controlling the Virus........let's hope it stays that way. 😊😊
Its feet up, eat cake 🍰, enjoy vino 🍷......and a surprise gift 😊😋 which arrived 2 hours ago to perfectly compliment the wine 🧀.......

Pockets and Neckbands prep!......Weddings cancelled for the foreseeable future, but I am busy sewing Scrubs for our fabulous Drs and Nurses.....thank you NHS. The next 8 sets are bound for Berkshire Healthcare Trust.........

I don't post often, really because I am usually busy designing and making.....and then looking forward to receiving photos from my lovely brides to post on here. Bridal Season 2020 is cancelled so I'm using all this spare capacity to make Scrubs for Berkshire NHS Healthcare Trust.........cutting another 10 sets today, hopefully I will have these made up by the end of this week and these are destined for Wokingham Hospital...

Designed this piece for one of my brides....... Originally as a pearl choker then it evolved into this ......Love working with pearls and seed beads..... best of both worlds is this convertible piece....... long necklace......or choker.......two in one....

I am hopeless with social media............I find great difficulty in juggling my time around my work! I get my head stuck in a project and don't come up for air 'till I'm done, so I don't post on this page as often as I should.............This bridal tiara, just finished for a winter bride, absorbed a lot of my time but I loved making it - quite a statement tiara - a fusion of pearls, Swarovski crystals, silver wires and accent beads .......my next tiara design will be a scaled down/smaller version using aurora borealis crystals, pearls and gold accent beads.

Bridal season now in full swing, and we are as busy as ever - this time last year we were designing and making the bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses for a very special wedding. Although I posted photographs of the bride I did not post pics of her beautiful bridesmaids - so here they are! Vibrant colours perfectly complimented the Bride's gown...........fabulous wedding, loved designing and making the bride's gown, wish I could do it all over again!

Wet windy weekend - not very nice out there - so had a productive two days making 'Anastasia' - a tiara commission by a soon to be bride and hair combs for her bridesmaids............back to creating bridal gowns this week.

Friday is tiara day for me. Making four of these emerald beauties commissioned to be worn by four beautiful bridesmaids on a spring wedding day in March. Bridal season will soon be in full swing....

I was commissioned by the Bride to make jewellery for the back of her dress, so here it is.......... This is the jewellery 'back necklace' I made for this beautiful wedding dress, worn by a beautiful bride last summer 2016..... glass pearls, Swarovski crystals, rhinestones.........really sparkled in the sunlight!

Radio silence for the last ten weeks ..................My daughter was married on the 1st July, so we have been incredibly busy with our usual workload and what was, for us, the wedding of the year. I have a few photos I took on the day, though in a few short weeks when my website is updated there will be a lot more. The design brief from the Bride was very specific: Bohemian, street urchin - in the colours of an Arabian sunset - 61 metres of pure Indian Dupioni silk in 7 shades to make this gown - and I wish I could do it all over again..............
