This month I have crossed another milestone in my Business; I have now been working fulltime for a decade. 10 years ago, having given up my job at Southampton Solent University, I took up the daunting challenge of relying exclusively on my Business for my income. I can not deny that over the last 10 years, I have faced many challenges and in the case of Covid, some set backs too.

However, 10 years on, I am still here. Defying my Bank Manager, who at the time, told me to stick with my University job and keep my Video business as a side-line.
So in honour of this achievement, what better time than to initiate a refreshing of my brand, starting with a brand new logo to represent my Business going forward. Here's to the next 10 years.

It was a lively set that got the guests up and about dancing. It was a great moment to capture and a fun addition to an already fantastic wedding.

Filming Weddings is always a special privilege, but occasionally one comes along that gives me access to a venue unlike anything I've filmed in before.
Luke and Oliver's Wedding took place at the Eden Project in Cornwall. The Mediterranean Biome held the Ceremony, Wedding breakfast and evening party. As well as captiring some wonderful moments, I was witness to a breath-taking light display once the sun went down.

I hope everyone is looking forward to Christmas.
Whilst I shall enjoy 4 days of festivities with my family, I shall be busy both before and after, with Weddings to film on the 23rd, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st. Rounding out what has been a very busy and challenging year.
Less desirable is my editing PC suffering a major fault, which will likely not be resolved until mid-January. Until then, I will not be able to edit any videos. Once I have my PC back, I shall be working hard in January and February to finish all editing for Weddings filmed in 2022 and deliver any USBs, DVDs, and Blurays that have been paid for.

Steve was great. He was with us from straight away in the morning before the prep even began, to right to the very end when we had our final dance! I couldn't recommend Steve enough. He captured everything and the packages he offered accommodated all our needs. I had a lot of guests coming overseas....

My office has moved around a lot this year. Photos taken in April (Maidenhead), May (Reading apartments), July (Reading home address) , August (Bishops Waltham) and September (Waltham Chase).

Change of address notice.
Whilst 2022 has seen some of my best work; from behind the scenes, there have been many issues with my location. After 8 months of moving from one temporary apartment to another, following flooding at my Reading address, I have now moved home completely.
My new address is 27 Chase Farm Close, Waltham Chase, Hampshire, SO32 2UB.
My website will be updated accordingly when I get a moment. I still have a lot of Weddings this week before it settles down to just 1 a week for the remainder of the year.
Please bare with me as I settle in. I shall be working hard to edit all the 2022 Weddings.

Another run of 3 Weddings. Today I am at Southwell, Nottinghamshire. 9am to 10pm. Then tomorrow, Maidenhead, Berkshire for an 8am start and midnight finish. Finally finishing on Saturday with Colchester, Essex 10am to 10pm. A lot of driving and long days, especially in this heatwave. Hope everyone is managing to stay cool. On the plus side, there's not much worry of rain over these 3 days of Wedding filming. ☀️☀️☀️

Due to a busy month for Weddings and a recent and unexpected change of address to temporary accomodation, delivery of all Wedding videos, USBs and DVDs will be subject to a delay this month. Normal service is expected to resume come September, when the Wedding filming is less busy and I will have settled into more permanent lodgings.
