We are looking for someone with experience in events to join the team as an Event Coordinator to work across our Venue Reading & Venue Henley Teams.

Our core purpose is to balance delivering event support services to our internal customers with generating revenue for the University by selling events space to our external customer base.
The teams pride themselves on delivering excellent events services and facilities. Our teams provide a professional events service offering a wide variety of venues, hosting a range of events including day and residential conferences, celebrations, accommodation and summer schools as well as filming opportunities for TV/Film and Commercials.

The post holder will, with the support and guidance of the Event Manager, generate and supervise the conference, events, and function business (including weddings at Henley). This involves ensuring that all events are developed with optimum efficiency and profitable utilisation of the University’s facilities in harmony with the core academic priorities of the University.

🎥 We have hosted a number of film production companies on our University of Reading campuses – whether it be for a film or commercial, we have access to a wide selection of internal and external settings for commercial and non-commercial filming 🎥

Our impressive Whiteknights, London Road and Greenlands Estates boast a variety of building styles, ranging from traditional buildings designed in the early 20th Century, to modern buildings featuring modern scientific settings.
