As well as this beautiful frame, I’ve also had several cards from Samantha Cox at Sam’s homemade craft. She pays so much attention to detail creating beautiful card creations. As most other items were gifted this is the only one I managed to get a picture of from my mom and dad.

I do have some other amazing artwork from this incredible small business lady but alas some were gifted! Karolina Spytek is such an incredibly gifted artist initially working with watercolours and now creating watercolours digitally! She does custom artwork and prints and is just genuinely a beautiful person inside and out. Please go and support Perfect Shabby Heart and hopefully soon we can get karolina back for one of our events!

We’ve been lucky enough to have been blessed with the wonderful Richard Humphreys presence at some of our big nights in events. His products offer joy and nostalgia to many a football lover as well as pure relief for anyone trying to figure out what to get those important people in our lives…who are sports fans.

Apologies for the stain…whatever it is…though i can remove the case to wash which is great!

These sewn goodies are courtesy of Helen Ward from Gift to Receive. Helen has been apart of the big nights in family for quite some time now and always amazes me with her beautiful hand sewn makes from purses and pillows to bobbles, scrunchies and even bags for our beloved books.

I am excited to see what she has to show us next!

Another throwback to one of our fabulous vendors Rafina Ditta from Ditta Designs UK

The pillow was a special collaboration. Rafina commissioned me to write a couple of poems for Father’s Day to be used on her gifts and I couldn’t resist but ask for one that we could gift to daddy ourselves for Father’s Day!

Rafina does so many gifts from what is pictured here to pens, order books etc perfect for other small businesses. Make sure to give her page a like and support our past vendors!

I have been coveting her artwork for such a long time and now I can finally say I own a helen livett aka dotty lady original! Well several originals.

Doesn’t my corner of dotty art look fabulous?! The best thing to step out of my bedroom to see every morning!

When I first started the big nights in event, back when it was just one day each month with 3/4 vendors…I had the lovely Claire Tinker-Mill join me.

I loved her crotchet items and couldn’t wait to spread their joy around my home. From items that she sold readily on her shop to custom made items like my little cactus set for Theo’s bedroom.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen claire in our events and I know since she has changed direction within her buisness offering beautiful embroidery hoop art. Even if we don’t get to see her work in our events, please go give her page Martha's Palace a follow and keep up with the fab things she has been getting up to!

Another past vendor I wanted to give a huge shoutout to is the lovely Iona Sutherland from Accessoriesbyiona

I first met Iona at a craft fair we were both at and being local we kept bumping into each other at others afterwards too. She has some really beautiful makes and gifts on her stall and the reason this beautiful crafter can’t join us this time round is because she is starting university!!!!

Wishing you all the luck at uni Iona and can’t wait to see what you do next!

To say that we love usbourne books would be an understatement.

This is what we currently have around the house…this doesn’t include the board books that the kids have outgrown and been passed on, this doesn’t include the sticker books and activity books that have been relished and filled and recycled.

Laura Ameè Bailey was our very first usbourne seller in the big nights in group and luckily for us she wasn’t the last. Becky Atkins also filled our group with more usbourne love with Becky's Childrens Bookstore - Independent Usborne Partner and we have the lovely Jayne Houlihan joining us for the October event sharing with us her fabulous hand crafted resin items as well as trying to find homes for her usbourne stock as she moves on to pastures new.

If you’ve never bought from usbourne before the books are of excellent quality and ideal for young learners and readers of all ages…even a few adults have enjoyed taking part in some of their activities….*cough cough* magic colouring…*cough cough* it’s me.

Make sure to support our vendors past and present by following their pages, joining their groups and most importantly, putting in those orders so they can continue providing the amazing service they do!

Throughout the month I will be introducing our big nights in group members to our amazing vendors, but with a little twist. For those of you who have been following us for a while or have taken part in last events, you will know that when it comes the October extravaganza we go all out for raise funds for Home-Start North East Worcestershire.

As someone who has personally benefitted from the support they provide I want to ensure that we keep fundraising so they can continue to do what they do for any family that needs them!

Throughout the October extravaganza event I will be hosting fundraising games nights and there will also be a charity auction with all funds going straight to our charity.
