It’s been a crazy few months so I have been a bit quiet, but I back to planning some workshops again.

Wreath and floral workshops are good for the mind and soul, getting creative amongst lovely people to create something beautiful really does make you leave with a smile. Plus, the laughter from my classes really does make it all worth while!

Sorry it’s been a while, it’s been a busy few months and I am also very excited to let you all know I have a new baby nephew, he arrived into the world on Saturday and is just adorable. I forget how little and fragile they are. He is a bundle of joy and the cuddles make you feel so warm and happy.

The start to a new week, the first full week of the Christmas holidays.

It is lovely to hear from a-lot of you that your wreaths are still going strong and looking healthy! Hydration is key, something I keep reminding myself at the moment as I have started the January exercise regime!

Remember, how ever much you love your wreaths, you have till the 12th to take down any Christmas decorations, or it’s meant to be bad luck!

It’s 2023 and as the wreaths start to come down, to begin a new year I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year, I hope you all had a wonderful time, laughing, smiling and spending time with loved ones.

Thank you for all the support you have given this year, it’s means a-lot to me.

I love hosting workshops and sending gifts to make people happy, and hopefully your wreaths created an impact as you welcomed your guests through the door.

The next wreaths I am planning will be for valentines and Easter. I will also be looking to offer children ones this year! ( great for a birthdays or a half term activity!)

Wow what a difference a day makes, from freezing temperatures to high winds and non stop rain!

The rain and water in the air is good for your wreaths, but not the winds.

If you see your wreath fighting with the elements today, being them in and give them a drink ;)

A busy busy week.

Working part time in a school it’s a very fun week full of excited children, elf and lots of Christmas celebrations.

As well as this, I have had a busy few days delivering beautiful wreaths to dress the doors of Reigate and Lingfield ready for Santa to arrive soon!

I love making wreaths and hosting workshops, it’s a true passion of mine.

It’s festive Friday!

These ladies gave me lots of giggles and smiles making their wreaths. They are going to look beautiful on the doors of Reigate ready for the Christmas fair this weekend!

Are you going to the Reigate Christmas fair, I certainly am, I really enjoy the festivities this time of year.

It’s Christmas time, mistletoe and wine….

Starting the wreath making, the elf has come to visit and working in a school part time, listening to all the children sing carols has definitely got me in the Christmas mood!

Christmas DIY kits are in the making!

Please pre order before 28th December for local delivery the first weekend in December.

Sadly due to the times we are in and the big price increases. My wreath kits will be £40 each this year.

This will include:
Wire frame
Wire
Moss
Foliage
Accessories (ie dried fruits, cones etc.)
Ribbon

This will include everything you need, you will just need some cutters!

The first Sunday I am feeling Christmasy which gets me thinking about the next few weeks.

I am looking forward to this years Christmas workshops starting very soon. If you would like to organise a workshop at your house with some friends, please do get in touch as I have a few spots left!

I asked if anyone knew what flower this is?

Some of you were very close, but not quite right. It is indeed a hydrangea, one of my favourite flowers. This one is particularly beautiful, and the meaning is even more enduring.

This is called ‘Hydrangea, Paniculata’ -The Magical Candle!

This beautiful flower inspired me to update my media presence. I have been a little quite recently, doing flowers as passion of mine means I need time and lately time has ran away with me.

I have recently started a new part time job based in the heart of Reigate, which means you may see my face a little more. I have also decided to stop doing bouquets, I really do love doing these but sadly In todays times, it’s not viable for me to do.

I have therefore decided to concentrate on workshops, events and seasonal specials. (Plus my other venture with my lovely partner in crime doing events for larger groups .)

I hope you all understand and please do keep an eye out on my updates and workshops.

Hello!

Sorry I have been so quiet, I ended up in A & E with a torn calf muscle. Ouch! It has been so painful.

Therefore I have taken a little break to try and rest it so I can walk on it again properly and be able to become fit as a fiddle to be climbing up ladders and hanging gorgeous flower displays again soon.

I love this time of year, lots of inspiration, meetings, excited couples, gorgeous flowers and special days.

Weddings are so special to do, flowers really do add that special sparkle to any venue. The flowers bring out the dress and make the bride shine.

Lots of whites, creams, greens teamed up with beautiful colours.

Happy Easter Sunday!

Did you manage to get out in the garden to dress your tables for lunch?

I decided on blossom, olive tree, eucalyptus and some lavender, with lots of colourful eggs to give it some pops of colour!

I hope you had the most wonderful day eating chocolate with friends, family or people who make you laugh. I am totally full on Sunday Roast dinner and now time to turn off and enjoy the bank holiday weekend.

We will only be there on Sunday as we have weddings to flower on Saturday but there are so many talented and fabulous businesses exhibiting all weekend.

Happy Wednesday!

I hope you are all having a wonderful week, and those with children I am sure it’s a busy one on half term.

I love doing what I do, and workshops is a passion of mine. I like to meet new people, talk flowers and create beautiful things.

It’s is so special in a workshop, to see your minds get creative, the concentration and the joy when something special is achieved.

Workshops are great for the mind, and not only for adults but children too. I am keen to do some more children workshops in the holidays and would love to hear if your little ones would be interested in doing this and what they would like to create?
