The job entails standing in St Helen’s Sq in York dressed in Dickensian costume, showing people the way to the show.
You must be able to withstand the cold but we do provide hot drinks to warm you up!!
The show runs from 16th Nov- 17th Dec and we require someone 6 hours a day ( but we can split shifts to suit if required) we are looking for people to either work on a part time basis to share the schedule of days or if you are interested in working the whole stretch please let us know. What an amazing 11 days!! We have had the pleasure of hosting our first Yorkshire Craft Festival. Amazing Designer makers, amazing demonstrations, amazing people trying creative crafts. It’s been a fun and interactive week! Thank you to everyone who has taken part- to all our amazing traders and to those who come to support the festival. We look forward to doing it again next year! We are on our last day today, so if you have time pop down to the city centre in York to make the most of this beautiful autumnal day, getting crafty!!

What a fantastic morning- had a great time at the Yorkshire Craft Festival creating beautiful autumnal wreaths with the amazing Jemma from Riverbend flowers. Lots of fun and we can take home our beautiful wreaths to hang on our doors . We only have one workshop left - Sunday 22nd October -at 10.30am. There are still a few spaces available- don’t miss out!
