Happy birthday Buddies
20 years ago today we opened our doors with a whole manor of mixed emotions , not knowing what we had done.
Long hours , hard work good business partnership , freezing temperatures, births , deaths and marriages (just in our own families ) are just a few things we got through.
But none of this could have happened if it wasn’t for three things. 1. The huge support of our husbands , family and friends 2.Staff past and present, for all of their hard work and commitment they have given to Buddies , I thank you. 3. You our loyal, amazing customers who have continued to use buddies over the years. Without you, there would be no us.
We’ll be raising a glass today to celebrate our 20 years.

I asked my friend who today has just finished her breast cancer treatment, for some words that summed her journey up for my window for Milnrow ‘ Pink’ Hey. FIGHT - because it’s one of the hardest ones you’ll face. SUPPORT - that has kept her going. DETERMINATION - you have to have some to even get out of bed some days. KINDNESS - from everyone, this has been huge for her. Through dark and questionable times and everyday pick me up’s …. You’ve done this , strong, brave lady. 💖💖 This ones for you xx
