*New Postion* Warehouse Manager

Reporting Line Manager: Managing Director
Working within the company’s Operations Team, this role is focused around assisting the Manager Director with day-to-day operational running.
This role is based at our Kent Office - Centre Stage Solutions Ltd - Unit 5 - ME2 4LE
Warehouse working hours – 9:00am to 5:30pm (with onsite parking)
Specific Roles and Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all warehouse activities to ensure the efficient flow of goods and timely delivery of equipment to events.
• Manage & ensure that day to day transport tasks are undertaken. May incur yourself to fulfil these responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage our rental inventory of Lighting, Power & Audio equipment, ensuring stock levels are accurate.
• Utilise and manage our rental management software, Current RMS, to track and organise equipment availability, bookings, and returns in collaboration with the projects team.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to improve productivity, safety and minimise errors.
• Manage Prep, De Prep & Dispatch for each job.
• Keep all the Equipment maintained to a high standard, Including Testing & Inspections.
• Train and manage warehouse staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
• Monitor and maintain warehouse safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and successful event ex*****on.
• Identify areas for improvement within the warehouse operations and suggest innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Using our systems to ensure the data held is accurate and up to date.
• Managing the warehouse with day-to-day barcoding issues.
• Carry out stock control investigations.
• When required, complete create and manager quotes & Orders.
• Keep all work-related information confidential and always acting in a professional manner, in all work situations.
• Provide feedback within the immediate team and to the Managing Director of any areas of improvement, development or growth of the business identified.
• Be aware of and complying with the company Health and Safety Policy and preparation procedures.
• Ensure that the Company’s policies, rules, procedures and obligations are observed in carrying out the above duties.
• As directed, provide support to the other teams within the company, to assist in other aspects of the business’s activity, as required.
Representing the Company:
• This role involves dealing with employees and customers of the company. It is vital that you always deal courteously with customers, the public and represent the company and its reputation in an impeccable manner.
• Maintain a good level of personal appearance, dress and cleanliness.
• A generally cheerful demeanour, engaging personality and sense of humour would be a huge advantage in making a success of this role.
Skills Required:
• Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
• Excellent IT knowledge with a working knowledge of databases, android devices & Google workspace apps (Gmail, calendar, drive, docs and google sheets).
• Experience working in a warehouse environment would be beneficial but not required.
• Numerate. Basic maths skills and arithmetic required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
• The ability to work as a member of a team and to provide and receive input from other team members is vital.
• UK Full Driving License
