Part time JOB OPPORTUNITY FROM FEBRUARY 2025 (6.5 hours)

Due to high demand for our sessions, Mini wAVe Experience are looking to recruit a new class leader to lead classes in the community. You will work initially with our supervisor, being trained to the highest standard and then independently.

PERMANENT POSITION- currently Thursday and Friday AM in Gravesend and Bexley. Thursday is working outdoors in our forest area and Friday in Bexley inside.
Thursday 2.5 hours 915-1145am
Friday 3 hours am (Times to be negotiated with staff member)
1 hour prep time per week paid
£15 per hour starting wage

DRIVING FOR THIS ROLE IS ESSENTIAL. Enchanced DBS will be sought before starting. Free first aid training also to be provided for the successful applicant.

Applications will close once a suitable applicant is found

N A T U R E - this week at nature school we focused on, well…NATURE! We looked at lots of natural resources around us and made nature paintbrushes, went on a nature hunt to see what we could hear, smell, see as well as hear and later we had a taste of our hot chocolate and cookie! We had such a wonderful time exploring the natural world around us. For our final week before the half term, we are going to be making a scarecrow! We’re also going to carve pumpkins and have a little Halloween special! Non spooky of course!

🚨 PLEASE HELP A SMALL BUSINESS - REAL AND HONEST POST ❤️

This is just a post to thank everybody for all the support I’ve had over the past 5 years. We are now working in 10 amazing nurseries who have entrusted us to deliver our sessions and I’m so grateful for this! But this is the real, sincere part. Since September, many classes have been really quiet. I know people are away etc but I thought what can I do to help YOU as well as the business?! I have decided to offer a loyalty scheme so when you visit us 12 times you get a free session. You can attend any of our sessions to have your loyalty card stamped.

I’ve also asked if everybody who wants to support me and the business could LIKE and SHARE this post as well as COMMENT what you like about our classes. I want to keep the community part of my business open, but it would be unfeasible to do so long term unless we can pick up numbers.

I love you all and thank you for letting me be this honest with you. It’s always scary to do this!

What amazing start to the term we’ve had at Peters village! We’ve been having great fun exploring lots of different textures at our brand new Messy play and it’s been so lovely seeing our regulars return and welcoming some new faces to our Discovery play sessions.

Tomorrow we have a special nursery rhyme theme at Messy play. Come and Zoom to the Moon, jiggle some Jelly on a Plate and Sing a Rainbow with us, starting at 10am!

Friday is our ever popular Discovery Play where little ones can explore a variety of toys and activities, followed by a story and singing!

Book both sessions in a week for just £10!

P A R K V I E W C A R E H O M E, B E X L E Y H E A T H - this class is so heartwarming. We have residents jumping up and dancing, singing along, joining in with the children and interacting. This one hour means the world to them and us! Please keep joining us and making this class happen. Our next class is WEDNESDAY 2nd OCTOBER 10:40-11:30. Snacks and drinks included.

Hello,

My name is Gemma and I am the Managing Director of Mini wAVe Experience. Creating a lasting impression during a party experience has always been something that I feel is so important. Anyone that attends an event from the planner, right up to the attendees should be talking about your special event for years to come!

Providing for parties in order for your mini to get the very best experience is something that I feel extremely passionate about, but I also think it’s important for parents/carers and other planners to be able to have their say too. It is my job to bring you fresh ideas but also listen to your ideas and support you in bringing them to life to take that pressure away from you so that you can enjoy yourselves. Working together, we can create a party experience that your mini will never forget!

What makes Mini wAVe Experience unique is coming from a primary school background, having been a teacher of all primary year groups for over 10 years, I feel that I know children and what they are interested in, current trends and what they really get excited about! I have also won 2 awards for party hosting. Being a practising teacher (who also holds a valid DBS), I know how children can have fun whilst also bringing in an educational experience. Further to this, I know what currently isn’t out there for children, being a mother myself since November 2018 to my beautiful daughter Clara and my step-daughter Scarlett-Rose, the reasons behind the evolution of this business. Not only do we specialise in children’s play and party hire, we also provide for all age parties and events too! The packages we provide are extensively planned with creative, innovative ideas from myself so that we can continuously offer the very best experience and continue to be fully inclusive.
