And the phone is back 😜...only took Tesco 11 days 🤔
It was really shocking how much you actually rely on these little devices, not the calls but everything else!!! So, so glad I do the hard copy forms along with email confirmation.
I have nothing saved from the change over though peeps. It all got wiped so no previous from WhatsApp or text (fb and email are cool).
2 days and counting, 2 corporate gigs 🫶

Last 3 days of bookings before a week off. Love what I do, love playing around with paints and glitter and absolutely love meeting so many people but....so looking forward to a complete week of shut down 🥰🤣
Bit of a reset before Halloween (pretty much fully booked already 25th-31st October) xx

Inbetween parties and glitter bars was a Ukrainian Independence Day celebration. Always nice to be involved with cultural events and talk history while you're painting 🌏

Had the craziest time since Easter and massively slacked off any sharing 🫣
It's been a head down, get all the officey bits done and fly out the door to paint and glitter. Home stretch incoming for the hols....8 days straight with a mix of birthdays, corporate gigs, inflatable days and adult glitter bars and then a week off 💪😴😂

Back on WhatsApp but no idea how, as phone number still hasnt transferred 🙄
However I have no access to any messages prior to about 10am today and havent had since last Thursday evening. That means all you lovely lot that sent enquiries, asked for package info, date availability and sent me details for booking forms have disappeared ☹️
Please either WhatsApp or drop an email ([email protected]) as these are the only places I can access at the moment.
So sorry if you are caught in the muddle but I am getting messages through now, just no previous chats 🙏

Aaannndddd still no phone 🤯
So glad that I keep records of every booking because Lily fp ong mer/pir that's on my phone is absolutely fine except no address and no contact number....and yep I made it to Lily's mermaid and pirate party in ongar 😂
6 parties done this weekend. Monday is normally an office day but, seeing as nothing is getting through, it just might be a sunshine day instead x

Peeps! New phone has caused havoc 😱
I have no access to messenger, no calls are connecting or can be made and WhatsApp (that was working earlier) has decided to throw the towel in. Literally no way of answering or contacting except through email until it's sorted....hopefully tomorrow late afternoon.
Please do not panic if you don't hear from me and you have a booking this weekend, I will be there 🙏

7 days, 4 leavers parties, 4 corporates and 3 birthdays....bring on the sunshine tomorrow please, its my day off 🙏🌞🤣
Next week Ellis Leisure Bouncy Castles start their park events, Brentwood Council start their Friday fundays and as always I'm painting for Havering councils community team at their events.
I'll see you at some point, somewhere in the hols. Even if you don't want painting come say hi if you're out and about xx

After a cracking 5 days away in Suffolk it was back with a bang.
Speed painting at its max early this morning for a dance school. 70 faces in an hour max for their end of year film shoot. Fantastic fun, even though the kiddies were conveyor belt style. What a bunch of pros though....they definitely got the memo and literally did statue jobs. Different designs this year from last years gig so will get some pics when the videos are released.
Then it was 2 parties back to back this afternoon x

Been really quiet on socials you lovely lot as so much going on behind the scenes and crazy busy bookings.
However this is a really, really important status so please read on.

Your booking form has T&C's at the end. Part of this is to do with parking at your booking. Although I Google new venues, sometimes it is not apparent if there are restrictions, permits needed, lack of spaces any host of reasons that parking might be affected.

I need to park at or near to the venue because

🎨 I bring a table, make up chair and a trolley full of kit (it's bulky and I'm no spring chicken any more 😳🤣)
🎨 I normally have a booking after, so need to pack and go

If there are possible issues please, please let me know. If I can't park I can't paint!
I can try to work around any issue if I know about it but if not, there's very little I can do on the day.

In the last 6 weeks there has been

💫 unloading only with street parking a good 6/7 min walk away.
💫Car parks needing apps downloading and activating.
💫Permit parking only and double yellow lines as far as the eye can see.
💫Parking 1 hour only....I needed 2.5 hours, the other car park was a 5 minute walk, I'm loaded with kit and a party after.
💫Night booking (11pm finish) and the only parking space I could find, after driving around for 15 minutes was a 10 minute walk away, in the dark down back streets(yes that included table, chair and trolley).
💫 zero spaces and zero options, apart from permit only or £100 fine

I have absolutely no problem working with any of that (apart from permits and yellow lines 😉) but the more info I'm given prior, the better prepared I am and the easier I can get to you to start.

Give me the heads up please peeps, so I can work with you 🥰

Couple of crazy busy speed paint sessions this week for Canvey Yacht Club and LBBD 💪🎨
What started of steady (well first 15 minutes 🙈) and then queue explosion at The Galvin Green Man 🤯
Birthdays and a fabulously glam 60th
Sunny day in Upminster Park with the awesome Ellis Leisure Bouncy Castles
This weekend the schools hols finish with a party in the park and some hall venues

May madness has started 🙈
Even though it's still spring its kinda not because, hell it's summer in literally 3 minutes and it's now the enquiries go bonkers.
I've had 9 enquiries since last night, 7 have booked and I've already had to shimmy a new bookings start time back to squeeze an earlier time change in.
And that's not all. It's Friday night, all booking confirmations have been completed and emailed, phone diary updated, hard copies printed because you crazy lot made me panic and not leave it til next Tuesday 😱😱😱

Some kiddies don't like the feel on their face, they're worried it will go in their eyes, a strange person that close can also be unsettling for some, so let's have your arm then!
They can watch as the picture or design is created and then have their 'tattoo' for the rest of the day 💫

Easter was crazy and took me ages to catch up on enquiries, paperwork, emails etc after the break.
Had an absolute belter last weekend for a hen party. Returning ladies from a hen last year and what a crowd. Glam, fun, bubbly and absolutely yes to sparkles and gems.
No painting at this one so lots of colour matching clusters, elegant cat eye swipes of glitter, gorgeous curves to frame the eyes and even some body gems on the neckline (even though it called 'the boobie job' 🤣). At least 30 blinged up ladies and I had a fabulous time.
So much fun mixing up the parties and even the glitter and gems are chosen to match outfits and even hairstyles 🥰

Community engagement event today, indoors fortunately 🙏🌧!
We do lots of gigs for Havering and Dagenham/Barking councils throughout the year. All different departments and teams who work together to put on activities, workshops and fun days 🎨

First proper out out event with the fantastic Ellis Leisure Bouncy Castles. Weather has been a bit of a beast these holidays but today the sun was out and the wind behaved!
Back with Havering Council for their community engagement gigs the next few days then finishing off with a big indoor bonanza, back with Harry Ellis and the team in Barking Sports House.

After a very busy 9 days straight....including a 280 mile round trip to Nottingham....it was really nice to have a calm Sunday.
Super party at a fabulous local venue that I never knew existed (I'll get info and share, was very impressed).
Whenever I answer enquiries I always say " happy for adults to join in the fun as simply adapt designs to suit whoever is in the chair". Just 3 of the lovely ladies that joined in today 🤩

Corporate event today, fortunately indoors....what is going on with the weather!
The gorgeous young lady in the picture was one of the first little people I painted when I started Bugz & Butterflies, way back 9 years ago. Just proves you're never to old/to cool to have a paint as I just adapt designs to whoever is in the chair. Love that she wandered over and said can I have flowers xx

Another weekend of speed painting to bust the queues. It's 3 min max on fast gigs so need to get a wiggle on. One party thrown in the mix of the corporate bookings 🎉
Easter starts early this week with Krazy Kidz Cafe then it's bonkers busy with Ellis Leisure Bouncy Castles, Havering and LBBD councils, EOR Railway and parties.
I'd like to say I'm this 💪 but it's probably more this 😱 which then sets off a slightly manic this 🤣 x

Super fast butterfly and a colour matching leopard from a steady 4 party weekend.....and then it really kicks up a gear 😱
Teen disco, 6 hour corporate gig, birthday party and a long day at the races as part of an eight team painty squad and that's the weekend before the Easter hols 💪
Spend lots of time painting on our own so it's always good fun to mix it up in a hubble bubble of creativeness....and get to be nosey at kits/ooo I like that/start a new shopping list 🤦‍♀️🎨💰🤣

My first totally clear date is May 18th peeps. That doesn't mean I can't fit you in, it just means there's far less options with times.
