Weather was not on our side today. Ellis Leisure Bouncy Castles had to cancel their fabulous park event but it meant I had time for a kit deep clean. Kits are always cleaned, as in brush soap and setting liquid, each paint wiped over etc at the end of each day but even the hoover comes out for the deep clean 🤦‍♀️🤣

First week nearly finished and the most fabulous 1st birthday in Dalston to round it off.
Love it when the adults join in, will definitely be chasing Dani to share some pictures. This little one wanted stars and purple, so we mixed it up. Mumma eyeballed me with a ' keep it real small and simple'....and she smiled so guessing it ticked the box 🫶

Easter is off to a thundering good start with the glorious sunshine!

Peeps super important info, please read!
Total road closure at Gallows Corner in Romford, and approaching roads, will have a huge affect on bookings this spring and summer.
Where I normally do postcodes, travel routes, timings plus added for set up etc, which allows for up to 4 bookings a day, this will be blown away.
Whilst I know most back routes, with a closure of this size the world and its wife will also be heading these ways as there is literally no other way round.
This means I'll be down to 1 booking, 2 if travel time allows with a big extra chunk of hellfire panic added!
With all this in mind please, please get your date and time in quicker than the normal 8 weeks I generally need. June to September full road closure.....carnage for everyone 😭

What's not to love about pinky purple t rexs, complete with eyelashes don't you know. And unicorns will forever be on the list of most requested designs.....although Among us, Venom and randomly hummingbirds were super popular last year.
The reason I use cartoon boards of ideas is simply because I can mix up every single design to be different, so they are all unique.
New board has been created with a few not so requested ideas put on the reserve list and some cracking new additions 🎨

In my infinite wisdom (yep stop with the lols and eye rolling) I decided to have a switch around with my normal working kit. My black trolley is epic but I just end up piling more and more stuff in there with the ' oh I might need....'!
So been really strict with my most used colours, slashed the glitters, sorted through the stencils (and that is why I ended up with 3 reptile prints 🤦‍♀️). 7 hours total to set up, clean, rearrange and today is the first outing with the new look kit.
If it doesn't work it's back to the trolley 👀😱

Next revamp is the glitter bar.....new led 70cm sign that hangs on a table top frame. Hell yeh I'm excited about going through the sparkle and gem kit and seeing that bad boy sign set up properly ✨️

March brings brighter skies, longer days, warmer weather and starts the normal influx of ' are you free' requests. Both March and April are busy already, with some weekends up to 6 parties booked. Send your date and preferred time in as soon as you can to secure your booking peeps xx

Can't believe it was 5 years ago I got a late night call to paint for a music video early the next morning.

How many times do I hear 'painting's just for kids, I'm too old, adults don't get painted...."
I think it's safe to say, from the very first picture below, it's most definitely not just for kids and you biggies can have an absolute blast when let loose with the kit. Yes some maybe influenced by a tipple or ten, but you are most certainly never too old ️🎨

We have so many adult party bookings with the glitter bar, corporate staff do's, hen parties, getting you festival ready gigs. Lots of these start late afternoon, early evening so they fall after our normal kiddies party times.
Even more reason for you to book....kids have had their fun, now it's time for you to getcha sparkle on ✨️💃🕺

All hail to our accountant! Sent 8pm Thursday night and turned the figures around by 11am Friday morning 💪👊🙏
Did make me check back over some records and was really surprised how many corporate clients I've painted for over the past couple of years.
Hugely grateful my little business is doing OK and beyond thankful as so many of these, along with you fabulous private clients, now book me each year ✨️
Definitely a reason to keep pushin' on 🥰

Where has that month gone, holy moly!!!
Still had parties, including our boys 21st (not a face paint in sight 😂). But also had a few corporate meetings and a bit of a heads together, throwing ideas around, how, where and when to move forward....and it's my nemesis! I hardly take any photos, never take content, not a scooby how to do reels and that canva style malarkey and looks like I've got to really get to grips with it. I'll definitely be calling on all my lot that are way more tech minded than me. Lordy I've deleted the Ringo app 3 times without knowing 🤦‍♀️🤣

Super busy first party today. Had to lose a bit of detail as the queue was growing. Birthday boy was definitely all about The Hammers ⚽️

Anyways, I've got bookings through til Christmas you fabulous bunch, so if you've a date in mind ping it through and I'll get you in the diary ✨️️🎨
