So last weekend with the help of some truly wonderful people and the talented Jo Edginton Photography we managed to create some staged images to show off how beautiful the Wye Valley and surrounding areas are to perform a wedding ceremony.

If you have a favourite place or view point then you can hold your ceremony exactly where, when and how you want it.

Starting with Perrygrove Railway, a wonderful venue to hold your wedding, with the use of the trains, engine house and a gorgeous woodland and meadow for a marquee along the track.

So, what to do on your day off?

Well I got married! Actually I didn’t really get married (because I’m already married of course!), I stepped in to help out at a photoshoot with the lovely Jo Edginton Photography who was in turn helping out a newly qualified Celebrant by taking some photos for her Web site and social media!

Interested in a Celebrant-led wedding?

Celebrants do not have the authority to make a marriage legally binding therefore the marriage must be registered before or after the ceremony (just like registering a birth or death before the christening or funeral)

A celebrant can help a couple create and then lead a perfectly personalised wedding ceremony in which they may wish to include hand fasting, sand ceremony, unity candles or tree planting ritual and vows to each other that make the experience completely unique ❤️

A lot of people are unsure of the role of a Celebrant but this is a service that is certainly becoming increasing popular.

A Celebrant performs or officiates ceremonies that mark important events, milestones or life values such as weddings, vow renewals, memorials, baby naming etc

The humanist approach of a celebrant replaces religious traditions with personal rituals creating a meaningful and unique ceremony.

Without legal obligations or government restrictions there a very few limitations as to what can be included in a celebrant ceremony.
