I was honoured to operate sound and lights for the BJAC Talent Show again this year… but little did I know that this would lead into them being selected to compete in the Clyde and Central Talent Spot contest at the Beacon Centre in Greenock. They asked me to help once more and I jumped at the chance to support such an energetic, enthusiastic group of young adults having the time of their lives taking to the stage with such confidence and enthusiasm.

They went on to scoop 4 awards
3rd place in the Talent spot contest (out of 5 groups)

2nd place for Chloe and Jess for their front of curtain act

2nd place for Keriin for best individual act from the 2024 concerts

And 1st place overall for best Concert in the Clyde and Central region for 2024

Such an amazing result and a true honour to be a part of your journey. Love to all involved and a massive congratulations to you all!!!!

Please take time to come and listen to the community band perform tomorrow in the amphitheater. From 2pm till 4pm. We have worked incredibly hard on getting together a programme of highlights from stage and screen so all the pieces performed will be well known and most you can sing and dance along to. This is a great opportunity for children to be introduced to a live band orchestra. I’m sure people the rest of the band wouldn’t mind the children bringing along their own shakers to join in with. Let’s get a good crowd to reward all the hard work that goes into rehearsals. Hope to see you all there. ❤️ 🎶 🎵 🕺

What a great night, last night, celebrating Kieran and Teilah’s wedding at Rothesay Bowling Club. It was an honour to be invited to DJ for them, as their engagement party was my last gig before covid hit. It was an amazing night celebrating the happy couple with some of the most energetic guests I have ever met. The dance floor was packed all night. What and honour it was to be back mixing dance tunes on the decks for John’s 21’st Birthday. It’s always a pleasure to entertain at the golf club, but it was even more special last night, to be providing entertainment for one of the Rothesay Golf Club family members. Thanks again for having me, and giving this old DJ a chance to relive his clubbing days.

What an incredible night!! The amazing staff at the co-op finally got to celebrate their Christmas party... and what a party it was!!! Great food from Rothesay Golf Club followed by the most energetic party to date. Lots of great team bonding games along with a packed dance floor throughout the night. Their Christmas party was postponed twice due to covid and it made me think that these guys certainly did not get enough recognition for what effort they had to put in during the lockdowns and throughout the whole pandemic. So it was an honour to provide the best night of entertainment for them so they could really let their hair down and party hard!!! To all at the Co-op I personally want to say thank you for everything you all did throughout the pandemic. ❤️
