I'M BACK!!! After a very challenging couple of months health wise I am SO grateful to be back open again and thank you all for your patience, understanding and messages of support, it means the world. While I have been closed I have been working hard on designing and creating new ranges of products you will LOVE...watch this space exciting things are coming!
..Now I am off to deliver these beauties and make someone's day! 😍

Be happy! What an awesome start to the week! I had just taken my daughter for her first ever day of Pre School and found this wonderful Random Act of Crochet Kindness tucked under a bush waiting for a home! I genuinely believe it was made for me as those of you who know me best know all to well...I LOVE BEES! I even have one as my logo! 🥰 Thank you so much to the wonderful person who made this, you truly made my day.

The recipient of this beauty was the perfect example of why I love delivering the designs myself! I absolutely adore having a personal interaction with my amazing customers. The wonderful lady was moved to tears at how beautiful the arrangement was and said that she felt really special. Good luck to all the year 6 parents this week, I don't think there is any chance of me getting through the leavers assembly or the last drop off and pick up without tears. I'm right there with you! It goes too quickly, I've blinked and primary school is done and I have a handsome 11 year old stood next to me who is the same shoe size as me and nearly as tall! Looking forward to all the flowery thank you gifts heading out the door this week too, thank goodness for that distraction!

Meet Keegan! At least 80 in Cat years and still has the most Catitude in the street 😺

Keegan was a rescue cat and has kept my husband company through some of the toughest times, has embraced us "new additions" and vaguely tolerates our children...not so much the dog! It can get a bit lonely being a Florist, in the studio alone a lot of the time so my fur babies are very much a part of The Happy Florist, and genuinely make my day brighter... just not enough to make it onto the payroll!

This bespoke bouquet was made specially for a wonderful customer who requested stocks and peonies...and that's what they got! 15 Peonies to be exact! The huge display fragranced my whole workshop and I was so sad to see it go, I have been dropping hints for my husband to get in touch with The Happy Florist to "order" one for me! Super day off in the sunshine, definitely too hot for the workshop today! Living so close to Duxford IWM we have had fantastic planes going overhead all weekend but we had a real treat this evening.... a Stunning display from the Red Arrows right over our back garden!

Remember to stop and smell the roses! 🥀

Today I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit the phenomenal I had been tipped off that it really is a must visit this time of year and my goodness the gardens are beyond stunning! The roses themselves are so perfect they dont seem real and the scent as you wander along the paths is like stepping into a perfume shop! So special to be able to share the trip with my mini-me and my ever supportive husband too 💕 Highly recommend a visit!

Out of office is on! Don't worry, I will be be back in the workshop from Wednesday 7th June! 💐

Family time always comes first for us and it can be a serious juggling act in normal life to balance everything all of the time and having that constant feeling like you are failing everything and everyone...

Being a Mum is and always will be my most important "job", the hours might be 24/7 and the pay and conditions questionable, never mind having to deal with the demands of my 3ft "colleague" as they are firmly in what I like to call "the handle with care stage" (rather than the terrible twos) 🤦‍♀️ BUT having watched my son and step-daughters grow so much over the last 10 years, I know time is not on my side and it all goes too fast! Yes there is a battle to give everyone all the love and attention they need all of the time whilst being a small business owner but I am in charge of my life and how my time is spent. I grew up with parents that always made me feel like I was important and I want the same for my kiddos too. So, hopefully this week will be full of love, laughter and making core memories ❤️ If like me, you have been feeling like you are pulled in every direction and half term just adds to the chaos...you are my people and you've got this and you are enough!!!

This beeautiful masterpiece has been making me smile for weeks every time I drive through Melbourn. A very talented individual has been treating us to their wonderful creations for months but I just had to share this one as bees are so close to my heart ❤️ and after all it is World Bee Day! 🐝 🐝 🐝

Sometimes you need to just press "Paus" 🥰 Having struggled with mental health and self worth in the past I know the importance of taking time out. Today I had the most amazing time re-energising and looking after myself at one of Cambridgeshires' most special places, Paus at Bourn. Even my feet got special treatment on the bare foot trail after a super afternoon dipping in and out of the open air wood fired hot tubs and even braved the "cool pool". Staff were amazing, prosecco was flowing in the sunshine and I can't wait to go back! A very Happy Florist indeed 🐝
