Good afternoon,

An update regarding our venue.

The Broom Cupboard is now closed and we have made the decision to focus solely on our theatre company StageRight Theatre Company.

Since the very troubling times we suffered last year, we are extremely excited and enthusiastic to move forward with our future plans.

We had a sell out show in September and we are proud to announce that tickets are now on sale for our upcoming production "The Diner" next month.

We hope to see some familiar faces in the audience and to welcome new members to our theatre.

Our cast members from StageRight Theatre Company will be supporting the Charity Night production of "Gaslight" at The Playhouse theatre this evening.

We know it is crucial to support the arts and we are looking forward to watching some fellow thespians take to the stage, whilst we take the front row!

Every Wednesday evening we hold our weekly Acting Workshops with StageRight Theatre Company.

We have separate sessions for adults and children and cover a range of acting activities and techniques.

We focus on fun, confidence building and performance development. We pride ourselves in providing a welcoming and supportive space to perform and express yourself. Everyone is welcome and you don't need any previous experience to attend.

What a weekend it has been...

From less than one month ago where we found ourselves being bullied out of our venue, having no premises and making preparations to cancel our stage production and close the theatre company...

WE DID IT!!!

In just three weeks we went from rehearsing in a field, to performing three sold out shows in a new venue!

This is proof that determination, commitment and community spirit really do work, and we are so fortunate to have had so much help and support from so many people during this very testing time.

The stress, tears and sleepless nights have been worth it and our efforts have not been in vain!

Thank you to everyone who made this possible, who never gave up and helped keep our theatre alive!!!
