Phil Shields' family have asked me to announce that Phil's funeral celebration is going to be Wednesday 22nd January at 4pm.
Rainsbrook Cemetery and Crematorium, Ashlawn Road, Rugby CV22 5QQ

There will be refreshments and music afterwards (OVO only 😉) at The Paddox, 360 Hillmorton Rd, Rugby CV22 5EY (on the same road as the Crematorium.

If anyone is thinking about hotels, the Hillmorton Manor and Ibis are both full. Some are using The Rugby Hotel as it's one used for the niters. Sheep St, Rugby CV21 3BX

Family flowers only and any donations to be made to Myton hospice.

Phil's ashes will then make the journey home to Ireland where the family will have their own celebration of his life ❤️

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of one of our resident djs - Phil Shields
He finally fell peacefully to sleep on Friday 20th December after his body could no longer fight the cancer.
Phil first DJ'd for us in 2008 and then joined us as a resident in 2013, after moving to Rugby two years before that
Although he fought it on and off for 10 years, he stayed amazingly strong and positive and still managed to DJ in Manchester in September.

Phil Shields will be stepping down as one of our residents.
He has been part of our team since September 2013 and we will miss him.
Hopefully he will be able to guest for us in the future.
He's planning to pop in for a few hours next Saturday just to see a few friends.
Thank you for the last 12 years Phil ❤️

I know a few of you now travel in camper vans/mobile homes to allniters.
Our local farm has a hook-up field, a cafe (open on Sundays), with a farm shop and two gift shops.
4 miles from the Benn Hall
