Evening Everyone,

I know we have been very quiet recently!

We have got a couple of guys (Carl and Ty) giving us some help over the coming months, to try and ease some of the stress of the silly season.

It’s a really weird feeling, yesterday was the very first delivery that I hadn’t personally delivered since we stated the company back in April 2020.

I know these guys will be just as helpful and chatty as I am and will go the extra mile.

We all know that give it a month and we will be inundated with orders, so now we have the chance to have 2 vans out throughout the week, we are hoping this will make things a little easier to manage.

During our busy season, hour delivery times to extend, we can deliver from 0700 in the morning until 2200. We do always give a day off when the delivery will be made (sometimes it goes wrong) and will call when on the way if requested.

When placing an order, feel free to place in the notes where you wish the order to be left.

Hi,

I'm looking for advice and thoughts people.

We have an option to provide compost in 40l sealed bags. With the weather this week, it will avoid delays for weather and keep dry etc.

There would be an increase in cost and the 3 for £10 would be stopped. A rough cost would be between £7 and £8 per bag (plus delivery) still keeping us in line with high quality garden centre compost.

The quality of the Compost is although the same supply is even better being stored in sealed bags.

I have a couple of bags as a sample if anyone would like to have a look.

Please let me know your thoughts and be completely honest.

Evening everyone,

I have been really rubbish at posting on here over the last few months, in all honesty, we are now fortunate to not have to really post, market or advertise as we have so many regular and new customers ordering from us, through word of mouth!

We have had a truly amazing year and I am so grateful to each and everyone of you!

As much as we are getting busier and busier, we are still able to offer an exceptional level of service! Don’t get me wrong, we are far from perfect, we have delays and we do get the odd complaint, however its all about how we as a business deal with these, this year has taught me how to rectify these, and in the Midlands Compost way, we have done and every customer has returned!

We have hit some milestones during this year! 1500 orders placed via the website! and this week we hit 1000 customers!

From a business started in Covid only ever planning to deliver around Rushden and Higham, to 4 years later delivering and having regular customers in all areas from Hemel Hempstead to Sheffield, Gloucestershire to Norfolk and all areas in-between and on occasions this year even further! Hull, Newcastle and Devon to name a couple that spring to mind!

Another really happy customer! I must admit I love this feature! And our compost will make this BLOOM! This lovely couple have an amazing garden!

An amazing perk to my job is seeing so much imagination that people have when it comes to there gardens. This was a real example of that with this being a different shape but they have made this into something amazing! We spoke for a while about that they had done to there garden in only a few years!

As the last Bank Holiday of May had now come to an end this marks the end of what is our busy season and this has been just that!

We have not only covered every county in the Midlands but have also been to Devon, Essex, Kent, Wales, Chesterfield and Hull. We really are getting closer to becoming a national company and market leader!

We have had delays at times and things haven't always gone to plan as we get buisjer and busier.

We have now got even more returning customers and the feedback as always is incredible.

I just want to thank each and everyone of you for all you support and custom.

I also want to thank everyone who has helped over the last 4 months with bagging up and loading the vans, it's the help behind the scenes that isn't seen. A special thanks to my partner her Mum and Dad even coming out late a night when we do get behind and my parents for lending a hand and even a van when mine was off the road. Honestly without help like that I'd never cope.

As always we are still delivering throughout the year!

As most are aware, we had an issue with the website going down last week.

We are aware our website is down. It must be China and the jealousy that they are unable to order such incredible compost! This really isn't what we need this time of year! And usually our busiest weekend of the year! We are working to get this sorted and hoping it will be back to and running at some point today.

We have decided to take Midlands Compost to Glee 2024 at the NEC, and will have a stand at this. I may even bring some soft drinks! This is on the 10th to the 12th September. Yes I know this is a while away but as we all know the stands for this and any trade show sell out very quickly.

It would be great to arrange prior to attending, the chance to arrange meeting with potential customers who are also attending.

We have seen enquiries coming from further and further afield, we would love to meet with people who can assist allowing people throughout the UK to enjoy our incredible compost and products.

We have seen incredible growth within the business over the last 4 years, but following a great meeting earlier this week with our supplier about how we can move the company forwards, and with there continued help and support we really are in a great place. Glee seems a great place to start :).

I look forward to seeing anyone at the show at the end of summer.

We have 144 reviews on Facebook of which 140 of these are five star reviews.

2 are 3 stars, one for us leaving in the wrong place and the other was due to being delayed.

1 of them is a 4 star for using black bags, we have no addressed that!

Nobody is ever perfect, but I would say we very nearly are ;)

We've been quiet for the last few weeks, we have been stacked out delivering compost and this includes areas of the country I would never imagined delivering to. This includes even includes Devon after amazing feedback from a plant nursery and now delivering to so many of these, throughout the country!

We hope you are all well and remember we are still here to assist with our amazing compost, mulch, manure, Bark and top soil, now we are all starting to think about our gardens!

Good Evening Everyone!

I hope you have all had a great start to 2024, although new year does seem so long ago now!

We have had an amazing start to the year, being flat put since the year started. We have seen so many brand new customers and we welcome you all!

I still pinch myself each and every day for how well the company is doing.
