Working on a bank holiday? Yes, yes we did and I loved it.
Easing myself back in gently when the boys allow me to help out. A nice little take down from a special returning customer who has already booked us again for next year.

Whoever said running your own business is great fun never tried to run 3 🤣 I am frazzled and I havent worked anywhere near as hard as my team have this week. Staff shortage staff sickness bad weather and a boss (me) thats as much use as a chocolate teapot have all meant a busy week for the boys. I joined them yesterday for the last of the take down as it was Mr Eclipse's birthday, made me realise just how much I really miss it, but as my old bones ache like mad this morning I am grateful for my amazing team who really do work their socks off. I will post photos of the wedding when I have the go ahead from the bride and groom but she looked beautiful. We will always work hard to make your dreams come true so if you are thinking about a marquee wedding then please do get in touch.
Onwards and upwards, its good to be back.

I cant take any credit for this one, the boys did this alone and have done an amazing job.
Mini Eclipse and I went today and added a little touch of prettiness and I certainly dont mean me 🤣so she is all ready for the Open day tomorrow and a beautiful wedding next week.
Im very lucky to have such an amazing team but also such wonderful supplier friends.
Those who know me know just how much I love cakes but know that my heart lies with biscuits and to have a gift brought all the way from Australia via Hawaii just meant the world to me today. Thank you so much Ash Tree Farm - Marquee Wedding Venue.

I just love a scheduled facebook post it makes it look like Im busy working away weekends when actually Im sat in a bar visiting DJ Eclipse 🤣. Family is so very important though it makes us who we are. So whether you have a family of 500 or 50 or if your family involves pets or even horses yep weve had horses attend a few of our weddings all are welcome inside a marquee which is why they are often the perfect option. 🩷

Its almost 3 years to the day that we all had to shut up shop and lock down. As hard as it was back then then I believe were also good times, people looking out for eachother, us looking after ourselves there were hard times yes but kindness was all around in bucket loads.
Many people are still struggling to get back some are still worried and afraid but we have all proven that bad days dont last.
We here know just how lucky we are and after a winters break we are ready and eager to get back to building dream weddings and events.
Just a few weeks and we cant wait 💪

I know its only morning and not night but Im off for a rather long walk with Eclipse dogs gonna brush those cobwebs away after being in the office yesterday and start to get fit again so I may not be able to move afterwards 🤣
Another week is about to start so Lets make it amazing. This week we are planning wedding fairs we are opening our 2024 books we are prepping our vans and lorries and getting ourselves prepped and ready for our 2023 season 💪.

Been a busy few weeks with bookings coming in and site visits being planned I love spring its my favourite time of the year. Well apart from Christmas of course 🤶
Next week is and of course we couldn't, not give a huge shout out to all women. You cant build a marquee with one pole or build a wall with one brick we are so much better when we pull together, support eachother. We all should build eachother up not knock eachother down as you never know whats going on behind a smile.
So shout out to all women out there doing their thing. 🩷💜

So this Valentines I hope you are spending it with someone you love and who loves you right back, whether it be husband wife kids friends family and of course just as important yourself I hope you spend it surrounded by love. ❤
Know what I love? Apart from biscuits and cake? Family, Family is everything, including those friends who you choose to be your family, As a parent who owns a small business I always felt guilty, When setting up Eclipse our kids were small and we often had to leave them in the care of friends and family, Now they are grown our family works along side us Mini Eclipse is learning the ropes Not so Mini Eclipse has been promoted to site supervisor and although DJ Eclipse is out in the world smashing life as a club DJ he will always drop everything to come and help us,
The boys now look after me. 💜

Working on a saturday? Yes me too, and I cant wait. A bride/site visit today at a cider farm mmmmmm thats my saturday night in planned after I return 🤣. The weeks fly by and we are so busy with our day jobs but not long now till the season starts and I cant wait I have really missed marquee season, I may not be able to put up the marquees this year but I am working hard so that when I return next year I will be stronger than ever 💪 I am still very much here behind the scenes and I am lucky to have a great team by my side so whatever you need Im certain we can help.

Hello February 🩷🩷🩷
Not long now till our season starts so I had planned a day off today drinking coffee eating biscuits resting my weary head and worn out body, switching off from life for just one day, did it happen? No, well, maybe the biscuits did but I have set up 2 site visits for events in 2024 and 2 for 2023 sent off 3 quotes and checked in with some of our 2023 clients. Worked on some new packages to help as we are all feeling the pinch and started giving our linings a freshen up all ready for the season ahead.
All that as well as working on a little side line business I have going on which has surprised me as it could be amazing plus walking Eclipse dogs and having mini Eclipse home for the day all that and its still only 2pm. Someone please send cake 🤣

And January just keeps going on and on doesnt it 🙄 gosh its a long, hard grumpy old month I for one am very tired of it but not long to go now just another 13,000 days. 🥺
Lots of new enquires a couple of site visits booked for Feb and I finally did my tax returns so time to sit back relax with a slice of cake to celebrate. Dont forget if you are wondering if a marquee is for you then why not give us a call and lets see what we can do for you. 💛

Yes its blue monday but lets remember its just a day just like tomorrow and the next. What do you do when life gets you down? Some people have a good cry, some will sit in their pants eating biscuits (Im admitting nothing here 🤣) some go to the gym and let it all out there others just like Eclipse dogs here go and get pampered to make them feel good from the inside out. One of them has been really poorly of late so a full on pamper day was just what she needed. They are very much enjoying their down time before the marquee season starts and they will be put to work running round the fields checking for anything mean and scarey before the boys set up 🤣.
