Every so often, we enjoy a Dynamic Day where we spend time together outside of the office. We brainstorm, share ideas, talk about challenges and lessons learned. It keeps us communicating and growing and it deepens our team spirit.
This September we stayed close to home and gathered at @mermaid_inn_rye in Rye. After a morning of brainstorming, idea sharing and in-depth discussion, we took to the streets of Rye with our very own unicorn, Liv. Safe to say, we turned a lot of heads!
In the afternoon we were so lucky to undergo some essential first aid training. We hope we never have to use it but it's always best to be prepared.

This week, we bid a heartfelt farewell to our Kelsey as she embarks on an exciting journey to New Zealand and wherever else the next few months and years will see her go.
The thought of her leaving brings a mix of emotions—sadness in saying goodbye, but also immense joy in reflecting on the incredible journey we've shared over the past seven years.
From the moment Kelsey joined Dynamic Events, she infused our team with laughter, tears, camaraderie, and unwavering support for anything Dynamic. Apart from her many professional accomplishments, she also widened our horizons on K-pop, sheep farming and wizardry as she keeps magically pushing the boundaries of her room to accommodate the ever-increasing volume of books.
We've shared good times, amazing times, mixed with those teary and scary ones. We said our goodbyes once before during those dark long months when events only happened online, and then we again found her and brought her back.
And now Kelsey is going, and we'll have to adjust to life without her smile, her endless supply of stationery, the assortment of ornaments, a tape measure and other bits and bobs which she so skilfully scattered around her desk.
Dear Kelsey, to say that you will be missed is an understatement. But WOW, what an incredible journey you have ahead of you. We're all cheering you on, and we can't wait to see where your adventures take you next!

Another successful Dynamic Day!
As we come to the end of a VERY busy Spring event season, last week we took some time out as a team catch up, regroup and look back on a busy few months!
The team took us through some great learnings with presentations on contingency planning, embracing different cultures at destination events, and those all important tips and tricks!
Then after a spot of lunch we headed to @ryewatersports for a spot of paddle boarding and kayaking! 🏄♀️ Thoroughly recommend. A beautiful setting and the team's laughs could be heard from the other side of the lake!! Plus the staff were excellent and we all survived! Thanks for having us! 🙌🏻
And thank you sunshine for coming out to play too! ☀️

🌍✨It was a privilege to be involved in the #NetZeroDeliverySummit yesterday, one of @CityOfLondonCorporation’s flagship sustainable events. The hybrid conference, opened by the Rt Hon the Lord Mayor of the City of London at the historic Mansion House, featured both in-person and virtual speakers from around the globe, diving deep into topics such as sustainable finance.
💬 With over 200 attendees in person and 1000+ joining online, the summit was buzzing with insightful discussions and interactive sessions, and we provided all the tools to ensure a seamless interaction between speakers and the audience… And of course we made sure the event was as sustainable as possible from banners to badges and more! 💚
📅 Our team prepped the day before, ensuring everything was set for a flawless event, and took advantage of being up in London early, with a sunrise 5k walk that set us up for a seriously positive day. 🌇
👏 A huge shoutout to our amazing suppliers and a special thanks to the City of London Corporation for their continued partnership over the years. Here’s to making strides in sustainability together!

Our Event Planer Liv has been in Riga on an site visit, meeting suppliers and checking out venues for one of her upcoming events.
Whenever we travel we apply our 'Green Nudges', making our trips as sustainable as possible, and using the visits to ensure our upcoming events are as green as can be. Including...
💚 Choosing restaurants that use locally sourced ingredients, and make as much as possible in house
💚 Choosing meeting venues and lunch venues within a short walk from the hotel
💚 Viewing options for the delegate tour which are within walking distance from the restaurant and hotel
💚 Using public transport as much as possible... even out to visit a farm (see horses🐴 )
💚 Delegate wellbeing, and finding outdoor spaces for delegates to enjoy outside of meetings are a key focus to our event planning
Riga is a beautiful city, with lots of offer those considering a more sustainable event, and we can't wait to get back.
