“We celebrated our wedding at The George on 20 June and it exceeded all our expectations..
..We had a small wedding with 20 guests and had a gorgeous meal in the long room, which looked beautiful with stunning flowers by Alex Ball. We also had use of the beautiful green room.
The whole day was such a magical experience with such attention to detail. We were all made to feel so special.
I can not write this review without mentioning Anna and her husband Elton. Anna is a superstar. Every detail was thought of, nothing was too much trouble, and she was a true saviour when she helped me into my dress!
The bridal suite was beautiful. What an amazing room to get ready in. It all added to the magical experience.
All of our guests stayed and each one praised the George and their staff. Thank you for helping make our special day perfect.”

Last week The George in Rye family had an 80th birthday party and a 50th birthday party to celebrate.. and boy did we celebrate!
The planets aligned and in the end we had 107 family and friends in attendance for drinks in The Courtyard and Lunch in The Ballroom.
Everyone was dressed up in their finery with speeches going on for TWO hours! 😱🤩😆
Such a joyful day - we felt very blessed.

“Incredible flowers adorned the stunning ballroom and the couple had a string quartet playing in the background. Their vision came to life and I was proud to be a part of it by making and styling this table for them with 3 small cakes, cupcakes, meringues and macarons.
