WANT A GOOD TOASTMASTER? RICHARD IS YOUR MAN. Let me tell you about Richard P Cawte, Toastmaster. He was recently engaged to officiate at my daughter's wedding, which had previously been delayed twice. In advance of the occasion, he met with the bride, the groom and myself. He asked about and made a record of the plans and times for the day. He also went to the reception venue to check it out and met the organisers. In the week before the wedding, he made further contact with us to discuss any changes and confirm the intended times of arrivals at the church, the reception, meal times and speeches. Also the arrival times of the evening guests. At the venue, he remained alert and attentive. His announcements were clear, concise and timely. Having made them, he was unobtrusive and faded into the background, a difficult thing to do in his bright red regalia but he was ready to step in for his next task.
