We just wanted to give you another update and to thank all our lovely customers and followers for being so patient with us with our opening times at the moment. It is with the heaviest of hearts that Maggie, our wonderful mummy / mother in law passed away on Monday morning after a very brief illness. We are all heartbroken. Maggie was our biggest supporter, she shared every social media posts, she would tell everyone who would listen in Mevagissey to go the the big yellow shed on the harbour, she would bring her friends for a bite to eat and She would ask daily how the boys got on. We will be forever grateful for her unwavering support and will miss her forever!! We may be a little inconsistent while we make arrangements but as she would have wanted we will be open today. We love you Maggie 💕💛💕💛💕💛

Update 💛 long post alert 💛
We thought that we would give all of our lovely customers, supporters and followers a bit of an update. As you may have seen we have been shut in Mevagissey for the last couple of weeks and have had some messages that the word on the street was that we were closing. We just wanted to reassure everyone that this certainly isn’t the case. We love Mevagissey and our hearts are always here, our children go to school in Meva and we love being part of the wonderful community here, we want for that to continue for as long as you guys keep coming to see us!
Three weeks ago we were given the most devastating news that one of our closest family members has had a terminal cancer diagnosis. We made the difficult decision to temporarily close Mevagissey whilst we processed this news, to give us a chance to put a plan in place going forward and to fulfill some events that we already had in our diaries. The plan, as it has always been, is to always to push forwards with Kernow Street Kitchen. We have lots of long term plans but these might take us a little bit longer to get there.
We are OPEN in Mevagissey and will remain so in the short and long term, over the next couple of months we may have to adjust timings slightly as we embark on this journey with our loved ones but we promise we will be open for as long and as much as we possibly can be. We would like to thank everyone for your understanding and patience around any inconsistencies with our opening times and we will try and keep our social media updated. 💛 Thank you for reading 💛 Much love 💛

Sorry we have been closed for the last couple of weeks, we have had a mixture of family emergencies, hospital, private functions, festival and now we are both still recovering from stickiness.
We will be back open on Monday!

Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that came to see us LOSTFEST - Official Lostwithiel Festival Fan Site yesterday!! What a day!! This was before the carnage!!
