Knightor, one of only a handful of Cornish wineries, is housed within a collection of carefully renovated old granite barns situated around a sunny courtyard. Our winemaker, David Brocklehurst, produces a broad range of premium English wines including red, white and rose as still and sparkling wines. Knightor also produces the first Cornish-made vermouth which can be served in our signature cockta
il, the Cornish Spritz. Our winery plays host to regular pop ups, feast nights, Sunday roast lunches and celebrations year round, just check our events pages or opening times to find out more. You can also book the events barn for business meetings, conferences or workshops. Weddings are a large part of Knightor and you can book the threshing barn exclusively to celebrate your wedding. With onsite farmhouse and Orchard Barn accommodation as well as two clamping bell tents. Enjoy 3 acres of grounds including a pond and orchard there is plenty of space to celebrate and stunning photo opportunities in the gardens and grounds. You can find out more on our website. Knightor named the best wedding venue in Cornwall!
At the recent awards, we are delighted to announce that we went one better than last year and were named the best venue in the county!
Weddings & Events Manager, Jess Baber had this to say: "We still have the biggest smiles on our faces. It took us a minute for it to sink in that we had actually won! We were up against some big wedding venues. We are so proud of this recognition for our beautiful venue and would like to thank the wonderful couples who have held their special day with us."
This wasn't the only recognition Knightor received on the night, with Weddings & Events Coordinator, Elena Sandford being nominated as a finalist in the best wedding planner category - a huge achievement for Elena, reflecting years of hard work and dedication to every couple that comes through the door!

We are thrilled to announce that our famed Rosé Vermouth has been crowned the Wines, Spirits & Liqueurs Champion at this week’s annual awards evening.
Following an intensive judging process, lasting several months, our Sales Manager Liam Matthews and Head Winemaker David Brocklehurst were present to accept the award on Monday evening.
This is a real triumph for David and his team, and is a celebration of the innovation they continue to show year in year out. 2024 is set to be another year of new variations and we can’t wait to showcase everything they have been working on!

Knightor Winery is a fast growing business based on the outskirts of St Austell, a stone's throw from the Eden Project. We produce a selection of English wines, while hosting a series of weddings and events throughout the year! In addition, we also serve our renowned Sunday Lunch each week.
We are looking for multiple Front of House and housekeeping team members to help us deliver our busy weddings and events calendar for the remainder of the year and beyond! You will be working with a great and friendly team to help us deliver the best customer service.
Front of House members will have several responsibilities, from serving guests food and drinks, setting up for events and above all, ensuring our guests feel well looked after. The Housekeeping team members will preferably have experience in delivering to a excellent standard.
Hours can range from 10-40 a week depending on the time of year. With weddings and events all throughout the week, we can offer hours that suit you, though weekend and evening availability is essential to the role.
