Finally got to eat at the famous in Biddeford Maine, where we had the best fluffy flapjacks ever.Shout out to the old timer Gilbert's Chowder House in Portland for a warming bowl🥣 on a stormy afternoon.
Also found a beautiful gem of a lobster shack called on Bailey Island. They were almost swept away in last years winter storms so it was a treat to still be able to eat some beautiful fresh seafood in the sun🌞. Roadtrip through the changing leaves 🍂🍁. Goodbye Maine.

photo 1 + 2 best Scicillian vongole with the lovely John who we met in line. He looked at us with a serious knowing and extreme authority and said " you will eat here.. there is no better, it's worth the wait" he was right.

What an absolute pleasure it was to cater this epic wedding at for .w.tarrant and .The sun shone all day, the brides were just as radiant and the love flowed freely. So glad we could be part of it. I couldn't do these events without my brilliant team either, so thank you gals for all you do ❤️ you are super stars.

I'm in love with brassicas. Especially the Hispi which has had somewhat of a moment these last couple of years. Hispi or -I prefer it's older name- Sweetheart Cabbage, is very delicate, delicious and sweet. Great braised or grilled then slathered with sauces. In America they call it Conehead Cabbage which reminded me of that film....😂
Here's to the humble Cabbage and to the coming spring 🥬🪺🌱☀️we've waited long enough.

SOM TAM A GO GO !!! Getting the flavours ready for our Supper Club this Saturday 30th March.

Legend has it that when workers moved from Isaan to Bangkok, they shared their love of green papaya salad. The recipe evolved over the years and was given the Thai name som tam. Som tam means "pounded sour."

I love making this salad balancing the sweetness, the heat, the zingy lime and crisp veg with nutty roast peanuts . I never get bored of eating it either! Can't wait to share it with you.
