📣CALLING ALL PARENTS📣

There is no annual pantomime this year for a number of reasons however the Salcombe Players are putting on an autumn concert in October and all funds raised go to the RNLI.
I’m taking the responsibility of children’s director this year however it won’t be the usual amount of stage time and fewer rehearsals.

Grab your tickets here for our very special “Regatta Comedy night”– you’re in for a treat! We are happy to announce our third Comedy night Live@Cliff House will take place on Saturday 10th August. Doors at 7.30pm, licensed Bar ‘til late.
The night will be hosted by ⭐️Jon Wagstaffe (MC)⭐️a simple country lad from Tewkesbury Jon Wagstaffe burst onto the scene in May 2011 and has propelled himself quickly into being a well-known act on the comedy circuit. His mix of high energy and clever writing make audiences warm to him instantly.

Opening the evening will be ⭐️Richard James⭐️one of the South West’s favourite acts, Richard is charming and sharp with an eye for brilliant gags. Having been made the finals of Foster’s Comedian of the Year just two years into his career, he is one to watch out for!
Second up will be ⭐️Charmian Hughes⭐️Charmian studied clowning under Philippe Gaulier and ‘Theatre de Complicite’ but unable to uphold the mime vow of silence, ran away to play stand-up comedy clubs throughout the nation entertaining everyone from members of the Houses of Parliament to ‘Lifers’ in prison (not to be confused).

It's that time of year again! The fabulous Charity Dinner at Cliff House will for the second year be catered by Jamie from 27 in Kingsbridge and he promises me that it will be even better than last year! There will be a welcome drink and a table magician as well as the hilarious David "Fitz" Fitzgerald doing the Charity Auction - proceeds to local charities as always. 🦀🥳Get ready to party on Saturday 4th May! As part of the Salcombe Crabfest weekend and helping to raise money for ‘the Wind Project’, Crabfest’s chosen charity for this year. Come and join us on the waterfront for a fun night, complete with; amazing food, brilliant live music to get you dancing and a bar ‘til late! Doors open at 6.30pm and the event will finish at 11.30pm/midnight. Dine on a special Crabfest themed menu, cooked by award winning local chef Jamie Rogers and supplied by local fisherman and keen supporter of Salcombe Crabfest, Chris Puncher. We’ll have beer on draught and wines specially selected to complement the 3 course menu and a glass of fizz on arrival! The band ‘the filthy gorgeous’ will play for 2 hours - make sure you bring your dancing shoes! 🎶🕺💃 Money raised from this event will be shared with ‘the Wind Project’, an incredible local charity run for the benefit of the Salcombe and wider sailing community.
